The Guardian ^ | 2-3-2016 | Tom McCarthy

At the news conference, Trump marveled at how the Cruz campaign had spread the rumor that Ben Carson had dropped out of the race.

"These are dishonest people, these politicians," Trump said. "These are worse than real estate people in New York."

“Well.....be careful......Amnesty was passed with Democratic support and so were a bunch of bills. Reagan didn’t go it alone.”

Anyone who honestly thinks the Republican majority of Congress isn’t going to work with Cruz if he becomes the President is smoking something good. And I want some.

What I’m hearing you say is that all the accusations against Cruz are lies, but all the accusations against Trump are truthful. Whereas ladyjane seems to be saying that all the accusations against Trump are lies and all the accusations against Cruz are truthful.

Feel free to correct me if I over-exaggerated.

Most of what candidates say on the campaign trail can be construed as politics as usual. Of course you spin the facts to make yourself look good and the other side look not so good.

But there is a difference between campaign words and potentially committing fraud at the ballot box. If true, this is bigger than ‘lies’ and needs to be addressed ASAP. If false, Trump went off the deep end.

How true is the accusation, objectively?

Well good thing we have those bills passed already. Maybe that will work. However, Cruz is not articulate like Reagan was and honestly talking to the American people won’t be as effective as Reagan did. Reagan was very positive and saw America as a great country. Cruz is negative and see America as a wounded country. If there was a time when America was wounded in was 1979 so Reagan was able to make positive reasons for election. Cruz sees America as maybe a country that can become great again. If I was able to talk to him, I would tell him to stop the whoa is me nonsense and be positive........he needs to smile once in awhile and I mean really laugh.....I have never seen him have a belly laugh.......he seems uncomfortable when he smiles and laughs. And I know you think this is me picking on him because I don’t think he is the right guy for President in 2016, but it is important to the voters who he is seeking and that is what matters.

All the accusations against Trump are based off of things he’s actually saying on video for everyone to hear.

Congress has a Uniparty majority in 2017; enough said. They’re going to fight anyone who’s not Uniparty.

Who can do the most against a pretty much guaranteed hostile Congress?

It takes 60 votes to pass bills......

And most of the accusations against Cruz, not counting the whole Canada thing, are based off of his voting record, which is there for everyone to see.

The question is how you’re going to interpret them. Cruz is your candidate; you’re naturally going to interpret them as favorable to him.

The lineup of GOP Prez candidates in this primary reminds me of the recent Republican gubernatorial primary in IL.

The goal being to split the conservative vote among bickering evangelicals in order for a business man to win.

Unfortunately the legislature is full of stubborn Democrats.

IL is imploding.

Yep. It is a shame that Cruz turned dishonest but maybe after he loses, he can reflect and be a better person.....who knows.

Good attorney....Crappy senator.

He's a book guy and he doesn't play nice.

Go back to the video of when Ted was 18...says a lot.

“It takes 60 votes to pass bills......”

Ok. So why is everyone acting like Cruz will be the first President in history that can’t make that happen?

“Who can do the most against a pretty much guaranteed hostile Congress?”

So now your mindset is to settle instead of continuing to fight the uniparty? I don’t get it.

Nothing is guaranteed in the SCOTUS. You can be sick of it, but you’re the one comparing the background of Cruz with that of the leftist 0bama...so get back on your meds...

No, I don't think this is you picking on him. Your opinions are very valid! I've never seen him that way but if you and obviously others do, it's valid. Hopefully that can change.

Is Cruz Ronald Reagan, no! As an avid lover and supporter of Romald Reagan, I've had to live with the fact that there will never be another one!

I know that is the reason so many people are flocking to Marco - his winning smile and persona! Unfortunately, lying behind that smile and persona are not so nice stories and videos showing him to be a shameless liar!

Women should pick up in this: a smiling, charming guy, telling you what you want to hear. Later you find out, he's been doing that to at least six other girls in your senior class and he's sharing stories with other guys how he suckered you!

Stood up to the establishment republicans exposing them for the frauds that they (still) are. His idol was Chief Justice Renquist for whom he clerked. He has achieved all but one of the goals in his high school yearbook:
