Cruz Email: Fake/Hoax, or Real?

Some people are claiming that the following screenshot is of an email from someone at the Cruz campaign. To my eye, it looks like a poorly Photoshopped hoax. Note the size/color of the font in the name "Don," the white blocks that appear to be where someone cleared area on the image, and the oddly cropped JPG artifacts around the letters.

What say you? Is this a real screenshot of a real email from someone at the Cruz campaign? Or is it a fake?

Not fake. From the article liked in post 15;

"Cruz Iowa staffer Spence Rogers also suggested in an email to precinct captains that Carson may be announcing the end of his campaign next week.

"Breaking News. The press is reporting that Dr. Ben Carson is taking time off from the campaign trail after Iowa and making a big announcement next week," the email read. "Please inform any Carson caucus goers of this news and urge them to caucus for Ted Cruz."

Ted's team sent the email, someone took a picture and tweeted it. This is not rocket science.

That cracked me up, but it is so appropriate. And they claim Trump supporters are cultists.

This is not a Tweet. This is purportedly an email from the Cruz campaign.

On Sunday morning NBC, Carson said essentially the same thing as in the email. He was hoping he would pull off a surprise. But he didn’t expect to do well and would step back and consider whether it was worth it to stay in.

Theo, the point is that the deed itself is done, Cruz apologized for being a cheap trickster, and as usual.... blamed it on his staff. Again. LOL! So now, no one gives a damn which little tweet was pristine and which of them was not.

You had his cut throat Blumenthal type tweeting that it was TRUMP who did it all. LOL!!

Cruz is a political thug, apparently, who happens to pray in public for votes.

You mentioned the Dan Rather letter hoax. Looks like you thought you were going to be another buckhead.

Ted sent the e-mail. Sad. Someone screen capped it or took a picture of it. Pretty simple. Nice he apologized for it but like Carson said the damage is done. I actually thought Cruz was above this kind of dirty political status quo crap. But he obviously isn't. The scare mail not this on caucus night. Stunning. I would have happily voted for Ted as the nominee. Now I'm not so sure.

If Trump had done something like this last night we would never hear the end of it. Amazing that Trump was one of the honest ones last night. Amazing he was one who didn't pull dirty crap last night.

Actually, Ted didn't send the e-mail, but someone on his staff did. Ted took responsibility for them running with a story from CNN, and apologized. End of story.

Read the link in post 15. Ted’s campaign sent the e-mail out. Someone took a picture or screen capped it and tweeted it out. This is not rocket science and is nothing to become paranoid about.

The e-mail is similar to the other political status quo garbage Cruz was pulling last night.

Not really. Cruz appologized for something, but not this specific email. The most you can say is that this is Fake but accurate.
