This has occurred to me, increasingly, just as you put it. How quickly we forget that we are a Republic.
Napoleon may win.

“We will get Rubio. And we will like it.”.....
Hold onto your old used cars and flooded swampland, if Rubio gets the vote, they will be worth something again, every “illegal invader” will want them.

Not me. Iâm voting for the conservative - Ted Cruz.Fine while he's available on a ticket - many here claimed to have voted for virtual unknown (at national level) Virgil Goode - we got Obama....

Your choice. I served 32 years so that you could make that choice.
I just hate to have to live with it. The past two weeks made me reverse my position on Cruz. He is just a politician.

That’s a very telling statement. IF as you say, Trump doesn`t need America, then he could be just another Multi-Nationalist fat cat. America has been plagued enough by them and WE don`t need another.

That's good ol' Benito Mussolini. A blowhard who also made outlandish promises, had a cult of personality thing going on, and who loved preening in front of the cameras.
His "base" was pretty politically ignorant too.

Thank you for pointing out the “almost worship” aspect of those supporting Trump. It doesn’t matter what amount of evidence is shown to them (he’s historically liberal, he supports universal healthcare, he will say what the masses want in order to advance himself, etc.) they simply don’t care. The Pied Piper of Politics has them under his spell.
Trump is a petulant child whose only interest in gaining the nomination is to add a trophy to his personal conquest display case.
And I know the flame spraying that will be directed at me by Trump Cult adherents here on FR...nonetheless: #sickoftrump

Thank you for stating the obvious to more than a few of us.

I’m going to be so happy when we’re past the early primaries. This back and forth is becoming wearying.

It's, I was gonna say funny, but actually sad, the blind trust put into everything Trump says or does. I haven't said that I won't vote for him, but I don't have to adore him. I point out the risks with an unknown quality which is what we went for in California, voting for for I will, I promise and trust me and having it bite us in the A$$ big time and you do what all the Trumpsters do, you ignore it and go for a shot at Cruz.
What is with you guys, if Trump is so destined to win, why are you worried about someone like Cruz who you believe hasn't a chance?

Stating the obvious is what I live for! Oh and being angry, so I’ve been told, but really I have only heard that these last eight years.
