"This has been an extremely fast investigation within the just past 12 hours," Blacksburg Police Chief Anthony Wilson said in a news release. "And we still have a great deal to do as there are multiple interviews to conduct and evidence" to collect and analyze "as we reconstruct the timeline of events leading up to Nicoleâs tragic death."
Nicole was reported missing Wednesday and was last seen in Blacksburg between midnight and 7 a.m., police said. A report issued after her disappearance said she had undergone a liver transplant and required prescription medicine daily.
Nicole's mother, Tammy Weeks, said in an interview Sunday that police came to her house about 2 p.m. Saturday to tell her that her daughter's body had been found.
"I'm shocked," said Weeks, 43, a cashier at a local department store. "I'm hurt. It's unbelievable."
Weeks said her daughter had survived a liver transplant, MRSA and lymphoma when she was 5.

Obviously, the crazies are starting to leak out of Maryland.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
If they are like that it is good they’ve been caught now. I think the woman is only being charge as an accessory after the fact, fwiw. Which is not much, because when your friend calls and tells you he’s killed somebody you’re supposed to say OK, yeah, sure, sure, I’ll meet you OK, give me 5. And then you DIAL 911.
“This looks bad at this stage, but I sure hope the details turn this case into something else.”
It is bad at this stage as the victim is dead and will remain dead and it will not turn into something else.
The two perps should be executed.
My son took his daughters out of high school even though it was the best academic school in the area and why they moved there.....but the schools hands are so tied to stop this bullying that goes on....and the parents of those kids see nothing wrong with them.
School employees are very limited in what they can do. With almost every teenager carrying a supercomputer in his pocket, there’s little anyone can do about a determined troublemaker.
Its funny you say that. That is my perception as well.
My thoughts, as well. You can’t be “bullied” if you don’t go where the “bullies” are.
And there are far too many adults and children who have been taught to be victims. Any adult who complains of being verbally bullied is pretty hopeless, IMO.
There was a time when parents taught their children proper behavior and respect for others. But they also taught their children how to deal with bullies and not to play victim.
I am not talking about physical assaults, as that is an entirely different story.
