Dogs are way too needy and high maintenance. When I used to do online dating, if I saw that a woman was a dog lover, or bad pictures of her dog posted, that was an instant deal killer.
My present girlfriend has a Siamese cat that I love. He’s noisy, but at least he doesn’t bark.
I just have to chuckle when I see people walking their dogs in 10 below zero weather. I loved my Briard, but all I had to do was open the back door of the farmhouse. But I’ve loved all my cats, and they’ve all demonstrated their love for me in obvious ways. Some people just don’t know how to raise cats. I’ve had my own cats since I was 2. Talked a feral tomcat outa the bushes.
