I do believe that “chant” ad with the focus on Heidi’s eyes was a joke ad from someone.

It never said it was made by “Cruz For President.”

But, I have to say, that was one funny “fake” ad.

I tried some quick research to find the "chant" ads, and it doesn't show with either real ads or parodies as the search topic. That's odd.

Does anyone have confirmation of whether that ad was real or a parody?

You are correct, ConservativeMind. That video was an entry into a ComedyCentral contest #CruzYourOwnAdventure that invited anyone and everyone to manipulate Cruz footage. The one Grania mentions is but one of many people have mistaken to be legit Cruz ads.
