The Supplicant: Stop Smearing Megyn! Ailes Refuses Donation to Veterans, tells CNN.....
Breitbart ^ | Jan 28 2015

Posted on 01/28/2016 8:50:36 PM PST by Cats Pajamas

Roger Ailes had three brief conversations with Donald Trump today about possibly appearing at the debate – there were not multiple calls placed by Ailes to Trump. In the course of those conversations, we acknowledged his concerns about a satirical observation we made in order to quell the attacks on Megyn Kelly, and prevent her from being smeared any further. Furthermore, Trump offered to appear at the debate upon the condition that FOX News contribute $5 million to his charities. We explained that was not possible and we could not engage in a quid pro quo, nor could any money change hands for any reason. In the last 48 hours, we’ve kept two issues at the forefront — we would never compromise our journalistic standards and we would always stand by our journalist, Megyn Kelly. We have accomplished those two goals and we are pleased with the outcome. We’re very proud to have her on stage as a debate moderator alongside Bret Baier & Chris Wallace.

Trump cost Ailes nothing, in fact as time goes on Fox will probably get more popular for not conceding to Trumps bribes and hissy fits. It was a very good Debate without Trump. Best one yet and no one missed him.

Generally, all the talking heads on every stations except Fox disagree with that assessment.

Remember what happened in the 3rd debate? Neither do I.

All anyone will remember from this debate was that Trump skipped it.

Trump. Skipped. It.

Next week, that will be all that you remember from #7 and you know it.

If you are referring to Jonestown, they drank Flavor Aid, not Kool-Aid.

From Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flavor_Aid

Jonestown Massacre

The drink became linked to the Jonestown mass murder-and-suicide when it was learned that the cyanide poison taken by or forcibly administered to the commune’s members was placed in Flavor Aid. Large barrels filled with the grape variety, laced with the cyanide and a variety of tranquilizer drugs, were found half-consumed amidst the hundreds of bodies. Kool-Aid, rather than Flavor Aid is usually mentioned in connection with the Massacre, due to its status as a genericized trademark. This factual error has even spawned the figure of speech “to drink the Kool-Aid”. Film of Jonestown many months before the Massacre show stocks of both Flavor Aid and its leading competitor within the commune’s storehouses, so it is quite possible that both drinks were used as carriers for the poison.

FOX will not donate to “his charities.” Does Trump own these charities? “Nor could any money change hands for any reason;” FOX is a business. Are they no longer taking money from their advertisers? FOX is losing credibility with Kelly. She had a pretty sleazy interview with Howard Stern. She may be a journalist but she is certainly not a lady.

Trump did NOT call Ailes; Ailes CALLED Trump....THREE DIFFERENT TIMES!

After a day ( Wednesday ), of refusing to take his calls, Trump did take his calls.

Please get your eyes checked.

Back in college we had a party with grape juice and everclear mixed in the trash cans. Had signs up calling it the Jimmy Jones Memorial Party (I think it might have been on the year anniversary).

People called us tasteless. In hindsight - yes. I guess we also got the mixture wrong too.

"BRIBE" ?

Trump didn't try to "bribe" anyone.

You obviously have less than no idea what the article at the head of this thread says.

That’s because Rupert is in the same company as Soros....

Remember Rupert got run out of the UK for a dirty scandal, the same as Soros runs in...

These guys ‘buy’ their way into different parts of the world, thinking they are the ‘kings’ and guess what, they are paying to make sure CFR; TTP; TPA; H1B visas and NWO is completed...

"Trump cost Ailes nothing, in fact as time goes on Fox will probably get more popular for not conceding to Trumps bribes and hissy fits. "

You have it exactly backward.

Fox advertising dollars (their ONLY income) is based on ratings (number of viewers). As you will see later this morning, it was a huge ratings FAIL!

You will soon learn that this has cost them dearly ($millions)

I think what Fox (Ailes) said was that the ads were already booked and priced before the event (I’m guessing Fox convinced the advertisers to hang in there because they were ‘working’ with Trump to get him to appear - that’s the reason for the three Ailes phone calls to Trump).

So, Fox managed to keep the scheduled spots by wangling until show time and got their money. Where it WILL definitely hurt them is in any future scheduled debate, if any, because the advertisers will demand cheaper rates.

It really all boils down not to how many viewers did last night’s debate get in comparison to the others, because that’s an indicator of what Fox can get away with as to ad pricing.
