CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) -- Police have identified five of six family members killed in a domestic murder-suicide in Chesapeake.
Police say they were first called out to the 2300 block of Wildwood Road Wednesday around 3:35 p.m. to perform a welfare check on an individual. Upon arrival, police discovered the body of 22-year-old Landon Dooley inside. The residence was the home of Landon, his parents and his sister.

I find these family murder/suicides very depressing.

This is a sad, sad, story.
I agree. If I were going to off myself why would I want to take anyone with me? Suicide should be a solitaire thing.
Local news reported that the father was a retired police officer.
Sad stuff. If you want to go, leave the other family members out of it. Really gets me angry when someone decides that it’s not worth stickin’ around and makes that choice for his other family members as well.
