The child's screams went on for a full 30 minutes from inside the Canton, Ohio, apartment before neighbors called 911 and police arrived on-scene late last week.
They discovered that the distraught, 20-month-old boy wasn't simply left home alone. He was stuck in a toilet inside the empty apartment, WPXI in Pittsburgh is reporting.
Eventually, police did catch up with the boy's parents.
It turns out that the boy's mother, identified as 20-year-old Justice Chance, was shopping at Wal-Mart, according to the news account first reported by Fox 8 in Ohio.
Police were still at the apartment when the mother arrived two hours later, carrying Wal-Mart bags.
She reportedly told police that a sister was supposed to be babysitting. However, police said the mother couldn't remember her sister's last name, according to media accounts.
Both she and the boy's father, 20-year-old Rashaan Cuffee, who also was eventually found, were charged with child endangerment and marijuana cultivation, this for three marijuana plants allegedly found in the apartment.
The boy was apparently uninjured and turned over to child services. It remains unknown exactly how he became stuck in the toilet.
Anyone have their rap sheet? Or how long they’ve been ‘disabled’?
It shocks me how hypersensitive government workers can be when there is even a suspicion a white child has been spanked, yet they just accept the hellish conditions minority children experience. Lowered expectations, and the knowledge that there is no way the government could provide for the millions of kids that should be in orphanages instead of with these “parents”...
Before even reading the names I had a picture in my mind’s eye of the couple. Regrettably, I was not wrong.
Or, even worse, being adopted by non-black families and losing their "cultural identity"... < /libspeak >
Lena Dunham?

____________
The government could easily provide orphanages and training schools to civilize these children and make them productive citizens at a fraction of the cost that is now being spent on welfare and social services.
Typical ferals...typical.
While I think that was the cover for ending those adoptions, the simple fact is that there aren’t nearly enough non-black families to absorb the huge number. The Newark Star-Ledger used to feature these kids on a regular basis, and it was just so depressing; all black, and with countless euphemisms to describe an out of control tinderbox waiting to explode...
You’re absolutely right, but nobody would accept the cut-off of freebies once there are no qualifying children in the “households”.
As it is, our government (via the free breakfast and lunch programs) seems to regard the worst place for these children as home with the people who bred them.
They closed the lid?
Uh-huh. I am reminded of the GW Bush line about the “soft bigotry of low expectations”.
I shudder to think about how many other youngsters there are living in such horrible households.
What happened to his eye???
I suspect the violent criminals all over our news grew up in the same fashion; uneducated, unloved, and unwanted.
I wonder how long the parents have been married?
I think you are right. No one has taught them to value their own lives, so they value nobody’s life.
I like your sense of humor.
I was wondering about that too. No idea.
