[What I am seeing on this forum has disgusted me beyond belief. ]
It’s not just this forum. I belong to a Tea Party org in the liberal northeast, and there is a civil war on our FB page between Cruz and Trump supports (to include me). It’s disgusting to see how people who have come together in the past have become so divided.
While I may be a Trump supporter, if Cruz should win the nomination, I will crawl over broken glass to vote for him, because we CANNOT have the likes or Hillary, Bernie (or even Biden) walking into the Oval Office.
I fear, however, that many Cruz supporters would not be open minded, and would even stay home or write in, or vote 3rd party, just out of spite. I hope not, but I have hear from many who will.
This not the election to play childish games, people. Our nation hangs in the balance. If we don’t pull this off, we will never have a (fair) election again.
Yep....will vote for either. I see too many people say they’ll stay home and not vote unless it is some perfect candidate. That’s just handing liberals the WH.
If Cruz does not get the nomination for President will he ask his supporters to get out the vote for whoever does? Will he realize that our nation will not survive another 8 years of Muslim-communist rule?
What you fear is exactly what your candidate is likely to do. Ted Cruz has repeatedly affirmed that he will support the GOP nominee over Hillary, WHETHER OR NOT he ends up being that nominee. Donald Trump, on the other hand, has steadfastly refused to affirm he will support the GOP nominee if he's not him.
If this alarms you so much, shouldn't you be pushing your candidate to support the party instead of Cruz supporters?
I’d vote for Trump, with only slightly more enthusiasm than I’d give to Jeb, but I would.
Will he be supporting the nominee if it’s not him? I’m not so sure about that.
