If Cruz does not get the nomination for President will he ask his supporters to get out the vote for whoever does? Will he realize that our nation will not survive another 8 years of Muslim-communist rule?

>> While I may be a Trump supporter, if Cruz should win the nomination, I will crawl over broken glass to vote for him, because we CANNOT have the likes or Hillary, Bernie (or even Biden) walking into the Oval Office. I fear, however, that many Cruz supporters would not be open minded <<

What you fear is exactly what your candidate is likely to do. Ted Cruz has repeatedly affirmed that he will support the GOP nominee over Hillary, WHETHER OR NOT he ends up being that nominee. Donald Trump, on the other hand, has steadfastly refused to affirm he will support the GOP nominee if he's not him.

If this alarms you so much, shouldn't you be pushing your candidate to support the party instead of Cruz supporters?

I think it was well said and appreciate the sentiment. Save the rough stuff for the general election.

Yup. And people openly lying about a candidate or each other should be given the respect they earned. Sucks it is that way, bit it ‘is’ that way.

Yawn. Do I really have to go get the list where Cruz flip flopped on things. Oh I am not a Trump supporter so save your garbage attack. Here is a hint - they all flip flopped and they are all lying.

Huckabee is my choice(for now).

Mud slinging between the candidates is expected, it’s part of the process. I’m in favor of Cruz too but, as this is a vetting process, I’ve no problem with anything being brought up for candidates to answer for. Whomever is left standing should be the most vetted. I don’t want any October surprises.

If it is Trump, ok.

I can assure you that won’t be happening.

If Cruz gets the nod, I'll be happy to join hands with the Cruz supporters. Anyone else, however, and I'm out!

And so this airplane called the USA has been hijacked by a crew who has delivered it to the enemy, The New World Order. Control is about to be wrenched from the hands of the current crew and delivered into the hands of a new pilot and crew. On board we have a man who has voted and sided with the old crew but says he hasn’t. Facts say he has. He has never flown a plane and has no outstanding qualifications other than he can speak in public.
One other person aboard has full flight qualifications, has a pilots license, has flown a large plane many times before and even knows where the best landing strip is located to save the plane and passengers.
Which man do you want to fly the plane?

Oh, good luck with that.

You say the wrong thing around here and all of a sudden you get called every name in the book.

The best thing to do is not engage. I was reading something the other day about how to be a gentleman. One of the things that a gentleman does is simply ignore the vulgar and obscene as both are beneath him, and not worthy of his attention.

Good advice for Free Republic.

And I hope yours will survive a trump presidency because I don’t think they will.

Don't forget the romulan! He was quite the gentleman, if I remember correctly.

I’m fine with either Cruz or Trump.

Nice sentiment in your post. But if you think you can convince FReepers to be civil with one another during a presidential primary, then you’re high.

{I think it’s a pretty one sided war. Most Trump supporters would be willing to support Cruz. Many Cruz supporters would rather have Hillary or Bernie president than take a chance that they might be proven wrong about Trump. Those are the people I’m calling Cruzer Losers.}

You don’t even realize that your post is exactly the stuff that people are complaining about, do you?

Trust me...I would take my chances with Ted’s voting record way before taking my chances with Trump’s history of being a liberal! It can’t be anymore clear than that...Trump who supported partial birth abortion...sorry that is one sick a-hole. One more thing, I guarantee if Trump had a voting record in Congress it wouldn’t look like anything he is saying today to get votes.
