Before anyone gets mad, I've posted this in 'chat' - not 'news' or any of the other high-volume threads.
I had a post pulled (that's fine - FRs prerogative), but now *all* of my 'pings' and comments are gone.
Been a FReeper for 16 years and this has never happened to me before.
Don’t know, my pings are still there.

Mine are still there, but I haven’t had a thread pulled today. Did you try FRee mailing a mod?
The only time that I have problem with my pings is when I’m not logged in.

I didn’t say anything bad at all. After I posted, I could see where the title (that was the original title) was offensive and I reported MYSELF. Asked the mods to edit it to make it more ‘family friendly’.
That was it.

You lose your pings if you log out. That can happen unintentionally if the FreeRepublic cookie gets deleted, or it used to happen to me if I used the computer from another location.
The title of the article that I posted had the word “m*ast*rb*tion” in it.
I reported myself once I realized that somebody might find the technical term offensive. :-\
I didn’t accuse you of anything; just pointing out that the mods sometimes have strange ways.
Posts after mine say that pings to you are showing up (I saw some myself).
So is the problem solved? As someone else suggested, did you wind up not being logged in? I’ve done that by accident when going between different computers and/or browsers.
