Old saying is follow what politicians do, not what they do. In the span of one week, Trump has turned a 180 on his entire campaign strategy. He was basically Cruz's BFF for 6 months. He wouldn't attack. He was praising him everywhere he went. His entire self-admitted strategy caught on tape with donors was to shower him with love.
In the course of one week, Trump's gone to attacking Cruz bitterly on twitter, to attacking him to reporters and interviewers, to attacking him at his rallies. When will his negative ads start running?
Confident campaigns do not do such 180 degrees shifts in one week.
Campaigns worried they are losing Iowa do such things. The flip-flop thing is hurting Trump badly and Trump has been forced to double down on his attacks on Cruz.
I see what you did there.
Well done.
Well played
This post is almost the exact version of this post by springwater13. What’s going on here?

Nevermind. I see it now.
It’s gonna be a long year.

Not to be a pain, but that seems to be a contradiction. Perhaps I’m not grasping the Confucianism.
Just makin’ a point, ‘sall.
Satire vanity is cute. ;)
Missed that when I copied the other post... I guess it makes it more authentic.
I caught my mistake.. took a minute....but I caught it.
Cruz’s campaign took on a different level of aggression over the holiday with the out-of-control begging for campaign donations....email, phone, mail. It made me wonder if Cruz was worried about something.
I love authenticity...
Are you “concerned?”
You’re embarrassing yourself. This is a forum for adults.
Good point, we need to send more money now.
Thanks for the heads up!
I got all those e-maills; found them extremely annoying. I don’t think it was worry so much as it was a desire to beat the pack in fourth quarter fundraising. Didn’t make it, though. No biggie. He still has most of the money he needs. He’s being very prudent, but I think he will spend money in New Hampshire in an attempt to blunt Trump there.
Iowa... my expectations are actually quite high.
I just don’t think Trump’s WWE style campaign will results in as many votes as some expect.
Just among my own friends and contacts, several vocal Trump supporters have abandoned him for Cruz. “Trump has jumped the shark,” is a phrase I have heard several times. BTW, I have a very small circle of friends and acquaintances, so when I say several, it’s a significant number.
Most folks find me abrasive and rude, so my contact with other human beings is limited.
Then what the hell are you doing here?
You’re on a roll...
