Cruz does have that quality to him. I hadn't been able to put my finger on what it was that left me a bit unsettled about him.Long before I knew who Cruz was, when I saw him on TV that was my first impression of him.

Good luck trying to win the general election without pro-life, pro-family, pro Christian values voters. When social conservatives stay home the GOP loses, it's as simple as that.

You think they’d have learned after 12.

Glib. SLick. Overconfident. Slimy. Too smart for his own good. Condescending. Smartest person in any room he happens to walk into. “Special”.

Only if I’m not in that room at the time.

I would think he could come up with something better than “some extremists say”....
It might have been entertaining but not a serious reply.

Cruz is keeping his eye on the ball: win Iowa. He loses Iowa and all other points are moot. He can address the moderate “wing” of the GOP and independents later.

That’s exactly what I thought. He had the whole watching audience to settle his case but instead when on about poll numbers and such. Looked like he was trying to hide something.
To: dem bums
Correct. He’s ok to question Trump’s history but it’s dumb to harp on NY because EVERY place has strengths (Trump will remind everyone that Cruz gladly took NY money and that his wife’s ex-employer is in NYC).

Cruz wants to be President, not Trump’s friend, so he has to do EVERYTHING he can to win.
With that said Cruz got stung BADLY last night when he attacked Trump... He better watch out.

I don't know what Cruz gains from including New York in this, and (as a New Yorker myself) I wish he wouldn't. You really need to read the article. It was not Cruz that said those things, but a Cruz supporter in SC.

Is it troubling to you that Cruz bear false witness just about every time he opens his mouth? Comparing the circumstances of his birth to Trumps was as dishonest as Cruz claiming he didn’t know he was a Canadian citizen until 2014. Anyone buying that line isn’t interested in the truth. He says he doesn’t need legal advice from Trump...he needs it from someone!

You mean like the man who TOLD his father he wouldn’t work, but then did do and was blessed over the man who said he would-—but didn’t? Neither you nor anyone KNOWS what Trump does in private, only something he said.

I noticed this last fall
Look up Joel Osteen. They both have the same speaking style and rhythm.
