He doesn’t have an answer. The minute he quotes the constitution which says natural born he opens up a huge can of worms.

“I don’t know what Cruz gains from including New York in this, and (as a New Yorker myself) I wish he wouldn’t. “

cruz is causing all those Southerners thinking of voting for Trump to pause.

Brilliant move, as Cruz could never take NY from Trump anyway.

With that said Cruz got stung BADLY last night when he attacked Trump... He better watch out.

Everyone in blue counties, including IA, knows what Ted was talking about.

And Trump gladly accepted the label. He owns "New York values" now.

+ + +

And Cruz embarrassed Trump regarding the birther nonsense.

Trump was reduced to admitting that he changed his position on Ted's eligibility because Cruz is rising in the polls. IOW, Trump doesn't care about the truth.

Par for the course for Trump.

I stand by my statement. I can read the Bible and understand with no spin. I can read the constitution myself. Again. No spin.

I probably should have said how would we know instead of how would you know, because that’s what I meant.

I was saying that we’ve had such poor candidates the past 2 elections, it’s hard to tell what was wrong. Honestly, we’ve become so polarized, I think it’s almost impossible for anyone to win unless they can get crossover votes. And that’s not to say that independents go for the lefty stuff. I don’t think they do. I think they stay home, too- probably because they think both sides are too extreme.

You have no clue what you’re talking about. Go back and watch the whole debate.

Without throwing stones at anyone or any candidate...

I'm always sad when someone views their particular candidate as "anointed by God" because they are almost invariably let down and disappointed.

All men and women, including these candidates, are imperfect. They'll make mistakes. Make your decision on who you think is the best for the Country.

We don't know what God's plans are. Trying to sort out who is the "most Christian" is generally not a productive activity.

Better a dishonest and disingenuous Trump than an honest Cruz? Is that what you mean?

Trump believes he’s in the elect, and he’s predestined. His wealth is a manifestation of his being in the elect. He believes he can lie and use hyperbole to get his way. He’s on his third wife, a former nude model. He’s proud of New York’s leftwing values, and was a part of their lifestyle nearly all of his life. He’s not one of us in philosophy, in sincerity, or in any of the deeds in his life.

As I have said before, we have no clue what sort of skeleton the media has on Trump, but only the most naive would believe that there isn't an "October Surprise" in the works.

I don't think the Trump supporters care. I think he has been vague enough that his supporters have decided he will do what they want to see done. On social issues, a good example is Planned Parenthood. When PP was shown to be harvesting baby parts and performed abortions in such a way as to maximize the future sales of body parts Trump's response was not to end funding for Planned Parenthood, but maybe just stop paying for abortions. Trump supporters thought this was a big victory. Clearly I'm in the minority, but I don't see the victory in this.

I get it, I'm a big "crybaby" because I think there are some things that you can't just ignore. For me it's Pro-Life.

Wrong. THINKING PEOPLE as my grandfather would term us, understand that social issues are not the most important thing right now. The survival of the country depends on stopping the illegal immigration, stopping China, Mexico, Canada and others from deciding how we will live our own lives in our own country, and myriad of threats to our sovereignty as well as our ability to defend ourselves due to the weakened military and on and on......
SOCIAL issues can wait. We do not have time to argue about them when the ship is sinking. We need a captain who understands the issues and can steer us off the rocks.GO TRUMP

Do you think Trump is predestined, among the elect?

Then you don’t give a damn about the country surviving. What a silly, petty person you are. Our economy is in ruins and all you care about is gay rights or whatever.............

This pattern will now repeat in the remaining debates.

All Cruz did was display his off-putting demeanor to a national audience and elevate Rubio, in that Rubio pummeled Cruz against the political ropes.

Not only that, the patter on the media is about his anti-NY rhetoric, which is clearly seen as pandering desperately for IA votes. I will not even get into the exposure of his tax plan, which will not work and cannot pass.

Don’t count on it. Trump is up front and admits his differences, as compared to those who want us to believe they polish their halo daily.

One thing I’m not is wrong. If you want to trade abortion and the gay agenda for votes, be my guest. That makes you a liberal. It doesn’t make me wrong.

And with your post, please dont post one damn complaint on threads about the increase in pedos, baby parts, trannies in womens showers, along with the other ‘not important right now’ issues. Because the world has enough hypocrites in it.

I doubt grandad would term you ‘thinking’. Most likely he calls you his cute little granddaughter that has the most amazing fantasy life.

They learned nothing. And they’ve gone even farther down the crazy path.

One of them told me today that the Constitution is over and we need a celebrity candidate who can win by emotion.
