According to the Cult of Android, Samsung is going to "borrow" both Apple's patented 3D Touch and the Live Photos features from Apple's iPhone 6s and 6s plus for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S7 phone line. Of course there was a less universal and less capable version of Live Photos without sound available as an App before Apple included it as a feature on their latest phones, but 3D Touch is patented and in hardware. -- PING! Looks like they are both stealing the idea of live photos since this has been on both Apple and Android for years as part of an app that lets you post to facebook and other social media.
The 3D touch, now that’s a real steal.
