According to the Cult of Android, Samsung is going to "borrow" both Apple's patented 3D Touch and the Live Photos features from Apple's iPhone 6s and 6s plus for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S7 phone line. Of course there was a less universal and less capable version of Live Photos without sound available as an App before Apple included it as a feature on their latest phones, but 3D Touch is patented and in hardware. -- PING!

Pinging ThunderSleeps for the Android ping list.

Apple being copied by Samsung again.

Samsung Galaxy S7 reportedly going to offer a feature that mimic's Apple's Live Photos - ANDROID PING!

My take: it is a neat "toy" feature that some will use, most will ignore. As I understand it, it just takes several pictures in rapid succession then stitches them together in something like an animated GIF. Personally, If I want a quality photo, I want a quality photo. If I want a movie, even just a short clip, I want good full-motion video.

It is interesting that the S7 will apparently have as much RAM as my entire desktop I am writing this on... (4 GB)
