The image, created by Walt Disney Imagineering and posted to the Disney Parks blog, was provided the same day that multiple attractions at the popular Anaheim theme park were closed in preparation of the expansion project.
In the design, the riverbank featured and elevated trestle on which the railroad will travel upon after its refurbishment, the blog post stated.
Disneyland has not provided an opening date for "Star Wars" land.
Starting Monday, the Mark Twain Riverboat, Sailing Ship Columbia, Pirateâs Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, Davy Crocket Explorer Canoes and Fantastmic! - all along the Rivers of America - were temporarily closed ahead of the construction.
The Disneyland Railroad and its stations have also been shut down for an indefinite time period.

anyone here remember the E tickets? I think my parents used to pay $20 for a book of tickets. LOL :)
Yes! I remember!
A very good book.
I remember those E tickets, too.
One of my dad’s friends had an original Shelby 427 Cobra. He had a Disney “E ticket” pasted to the lower passenger corner of the windshield, like a parking permit. Very appropriate.
Those tickets books where the best ever. E ticket was...Pirates, Matterhorn and Haunted House. Heck even The area Anaheim was somewhat safe as long as you where in Disneyland.
One of our neighbors at the marina has a 35 foot sailboat named E Ticket.
E-ticket, like the other A B C tickets. I still have a few. I guess they are worth something for Disney collectors. They still bring joy. “You have an E ticket? Cool. Let’s go.”
Of course! The E tickets were the best rides.
Pretty scene, but isn’t that in an unsafe neighborhood?
When I first visited Disneyland 30 years ago, a couple of blocks in any direction were bad neighborhoods. I was last there in 1999. Had not gotten any better. I can just imagine today.
Have you recently been to both Disneyland and Disney World? Curious about Disneyland’s Tomorrowland. It hasn’t changed much in Disney World.
Star Wars Land seems out of place in Disneyland, but especially out of place next to Frontierland.
If they had to put it in the main park, they should have put it near Tomorrowland.
I still have ticket books in my possession, of course with E tickets removed. :)
