Why is there a âNo Smokingâ sign in English? There are a lot of English language signs in Europe. I know, I lived there.

Most Germans speak English. They have to take it in school for 8 years. I think its because the international business language is English.

Weird huh? The English side of our culture is very meek and even sometimes self-effacing. We speak the most important language on earth, and yet you would never know it watching modern shows that try to get snoody-bilingual.
Such pretentiousness in Hollweird.
