Trump spends a million or sond on the ad, and he gets millions of $’s in free ads with the disgruntled ones talking about the ad.
Trump has the mediots and Trump haters giving him 24/7 free showings of his new anti illegals ad. The links below are prime examples of the bitching that boost his poll numbers even more.
I doubt it cost $2 million to produce one political ad. The campaign said it would be spending $2 million per week until the first caucus and primary vote.
White voters will see this and vote for Trump. This terrifies Demoncrats. It terrifies the GOPe even more.
He spent 2 million bucks to produce that? Voice over stock footage and a snippet from one of his speeches?
If this report is true, the Donald got taken on this one.
The only flaw in your logic is it is negative publicity. It’s very simple if you are a trump fan to look at this and laugh. It’s easy to sit there and talk about how great this is because it is being played everywhere.
Problem is this; it is an ad. An ad tries to sell something to people who either do not have the product or do not want the product. They are not aimed at people who have it or like it because, what the hell would the purpose be, right?
People who are reporting this are reporting it negatively and mostly just the one clip. Not the whole ad. How does this work positively? I’m not saying he won’t get a bump in polls because he almost always does. I’m saying that patting the backs of this ad is silly as it is being portrayed absolutely negatively and will not win many people on the fence over. It will certainly not win many who just don’t like the man.
I’m certain a marketing genius like trump would understand this. He is in the midst of trying to save face. As I said in another post, it’s like the kid who falls off his bicycle, stands up and says, “Meant to do that!!!”, as they bleed all over their white t-shirt.

Exactly. It was done deliberately. Now the conversation in the media centers on D. Trump, resulting in less time for other candidates.

Actually, the media was contacted about this. No-one searched it out. it was sent directly to them as soon as it was recognized.
As for being told, “You are correct”.... See my previous post. It’s the kid wrecking his bike and claiming he did it on purpose. They got caught with inaccurate information and made a quick excuse. Who wouldn’t???

Me thinks the Author of the Article got Trump’s Weekly Budget to Air his Campaign Ads confused with the actual Production cost. I assume informed FReepers would agree.
If Trump just said oops, my staff screwed up and he then had them replace the Moroccan footage with Video images of the Southern Invasion, what would the Press do then?

I think that’s a good policy. There used to be at least an attempt to get it right first by journalists, now it doesn’t matter it’s just get it out there first.
