Trump has the mediots and Trump haters giving him 24/7 free showings of his new anti illegals ad. The links below are prime examples of the bitching that boost his poll numbers even more.
The only flaw in your logic is it is negative publicity. It’s very simple if you are a trump fan to look at this and laugh. It’s easy to sit there and talk about how great this is because it is being played everywhere.
Problem is this; it is an ad. An ad tries to sell something to people who either do not have the product or do not want the product. They are not aimed at people who have it or like it because, what the hell would the purpose be, right?
People who are reporting this are reporting it negatively and mostly just the one clip. Not the whole ad. How does this work positively? I’m not saying he won’t get a bump in polls because he almost always does. I’m saying that patting the backs of this ad is silly as it is being portrayed absolutely negatively and will not win many people on the fence over. It will certainly not win many who just don’t like the man.
I’m certain a marketing genius like trump would understand this. He is in the midst of trying to save face. As I said in another post, it’s like the kid who falls off his bicycle, stands up and says, “Meant to do that!!!”, as they bleed all over their white t-shirt.
