The Chargers made it official Monday night.
The AFC West franchise wants out of San Diego, its home since 1961.
The Chargers, nearly seven months after breaking off negotiations with San Diego city and county officials, formally submitted relocation documents with the NFL on Monday, the first day of the leagueâs window for franchises to apply to move.
The Rams and Raiders also applied for relocation Monday night, setting up a three-way race for no more than two spots in the Los Angeles-Orange County market that will likely be decided by a vote of the leagueâs owners next week in Houston.

Three LA team’s interesting.
To: Perdogg
Approve them all and L.A. can have its own division.
To: Perdogg
Chargers and Raiders get in L.A while Rams are stuck in St. Louis.
To: Vince Ferrer
Throw in Jaguars and now L.A will have four.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why any of the three sides wants anything to do with touching the turf in LA or Orange County: the NFL socializes TV revenue, and every team, even the "Raidahs" is profitable before a butt hits the seats. And everyone knows traffic in Los Angeles.

That's a Keeper. May I steal it?

All three franchises once called Los Angeles home. What are they, salmon?

I think you're right. They say St. Louis has a "viable" plan for a stadium. So they are probably going to push them to pursue it.
The Raiders and Chargers are in the two oldest facilities and seem to be stuck. My guess is at least the Raiders come back down the coast. Call that 90%. I'd give you 50-50 odds the Chargers get approved to move too. As long as you're going to blow a couple billion on a stadium, might as well put to franchises in there (a-la NY) to try to ensure it is profitable.

Raiders going back to LA and the other teams staying put makes sense to me.

Rams and Raiders to Inglewood.
Chargers to St. Louis.
