As the woman continues to calmly and softly stroke Priscilla, she calms down and appears to relax into her first ever affectionate touch from a human.

Both of our dogs are rescue dogs, Stanley was on the street before Puppy Pals got him, Milo was with old people who could no longer take care of him.

Probably thought she was going to be beat again. Sad. But at least a happy ending.

Heartbreaking to watch the poor thing. Imagine how bad her puppy life had to be up till then. I cried.

My wife and I have rescued dogs, cats, horses and a pony.Every one we rescued turned out to be exceptional pets/family members.
I believe that every animal deserves a chance to enjoy it’s life.

I've had rescue dogs but none in that bad shape. My first Jack Russell had to stay in his cage for the first week because he was vicious but he settled down into a loving pup.
The JRT I have now has never been hurt, hungry, cold or anything. Bowser is just happy to be.

Doggie ping. (I can’t watch this.)

I can’t help but think of Milo’s previous owners. It would be a bitter thing to have to give up your dog in that way.

I found this video in multiple uploads on youtube with different names. I wonder how many people are making bank on reposted viral videos every day.

Could have been a feral puppy. And the video was not that hard to watch.
Great before and after!

My second cat was homeless, skin and bones and obviously abused before I took her in. I had to be careful not to have anything in my hand that looked like a club. Once I came home from work and absent-mindedly had a folding umbrella in my hand as I reached down to pet her. Whiskers was so terrified she ran off. Finally dawned on me that she was afraid of the umbrella, so I put it down, coaxed her out from under my bed and proceeded with calming and reassuring her.
Whiskers was an older cat when I brought her in. Although she was always skittish and feared strangers, she was a gentle, loving cat toward me. I'm grateful for having her in my life and I'd like to think her last six years of life were happy ones for her.

Let them “make bank” on this one. If it gets a few hundred thousand people to reconsider buying a Dog, and instead rescuing one, then I hope the poster enjoys his proceeds.

We have rescued four dogs so far.

You are not the only one, me too. I have to turn the channel when the ASPC shows the poor animals in such horrible conditions, it just breaks my heart.
