It's a brand new year, America, and the U.S. Postal Service has just introduced its annual batch of 2016 stamps.
Among the stamps is a purple-and-gold stamp celebrating the two most significant festivals in Islam: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
The stamp's gold calligraphy (by Mohamed Zakaria of Arlington, Va.) reads Eidukum mumbarak, which translates as: "May your Eid be bountiful (or blessed)."
The stamp features no actual imagery other than the calligraphy and a few words in English.

The forever stamps are the ones that can be used forever apparently, though it certainly looks like they are blatantly telling us that the U.S. will not be forever. Going to the U.S. Postal Service there are many different forever stamps that have that line through them.

No joke. The USPS issued it’s 1st muslim stamp the Christmas of 2001.

Just thought of something. The Proper Muslim Respectful burial given to the San Bernardino terrorists? If Muhammed Atta’s body had been able to be found, would the USA have seriously given it a proper Muslim burial too??
That’s not NEW. That stamp has been pushed by the USPS for several years.

Same here, however since obama’s reign, I place them upside down on the envelope as a signal of national distress.
