I think the black couple pictures probably are often described as African American, so the hits if the search contains “American’. Try “happy USA couple” instead. Much better level of diversity.

Funny thing is that googling happy South American couples actually brings up South Americans. If it is a boolean-thing, it should bring up a mixture instead of only African-Americans.
