This is almost 2 months old but I just found it and could not find it posted.
It pains me to say this, but if “W” dislikes Cruz, that’s a point in Cruz’s favor.
Who still listens to Glenn? I don’t.
I dislike GW Bush, both personally and as president. I dislike his wars and the nasty aftereffects, I dislike the crazy core curriculum, I dislike his attempted appointment of Harriet Myers to the Supreme Court, I dislike his taking off the weekend before the 2000 election which probably led to Florida and the loss of the popular vote. I dislike his cozying up to the Clintons while trashing conservatives. I dislike his near total inattentiveness to his job as President in the last couple of years he was in office.
Who cares what W thinks? He sits back for the last 7 years, while Bambi is destroying the country, not uttering a word about it, and we are supposed to give a rats rear end when he decides to bash the best candidate the GOP has? Go climb back under the rock Georgie.
Unlike the evil constitutional conservative Ted Cruz, GWB was just very concerned.
Overall, the Bush family has been bad for this nation. They’ve been bad for conservatives and they’ve hurt the republican party.
George W. Bush and Barack Hussein Obama - Two peas in the same globalist pod. History will regard both as disasters.
Being shown up in Texas apparently still hurts. Very petty on the part of GWB.
“A new world order” GHWB. the Bush family are total sellout globalists. GW first public attack after 7 years is against the one true conservative we have, able to win since RR, unbelievable.
Not only was Ted arguing the case, it was Perry/Texas who sent Ted to argue the case .. AND CRUZ WON.
This meant that the Mexican killer was not released to Mexico and to the jurisdiction of the World Court.
So, this is why GW doesn’t like Ted Cruz.
It’s sad to see GW succumb to the GOP-e .. when he was really a warrior. But, when you have a liberal for a wife (who told GW he couldn’t say “dead or alive”), and a father and brother who were leaning much more left .. I think he just gave up trying to be different than the rest of his family.
But, I’m glad Ted didn’t buckle and actually took care of business.
This is one of the main reasons I like him.
As for his friendship with Beck; can’t explain it .. but I do know the FACTS Beck exposes have made him an enemy of the liberal minded (Dem&Rep); I just don’t agree with some of his kookie ideas.
George W Bush was insulted and demeaned by liberals in the most vicious of terms. They laughed at him, humiliated him, made unfair accusations against him. Then they went after his wife and kids with no mercy. And yet he turned the other cheek due to some misguided, twisted misinterpretation respect for the office of the presidency or Christian mercy. He was a punching bag for liberals who never said an unkind word about them.
Now he thinks Ted Cruz is an “a-hole” and makes clear that he doesn’t like Cruz even though Cruz has never, ever said anything personally bad or demeaning about Bush. Their differences were just politics. Yet Bush makes clear, in a public way, that he doesn’t like Cruz. My respect for Bush has just taken a nose dive.
