I am thankful to have seen Motorhead 6-7 times. Also very fortunate to have seen and taped one of their last shows.

One of my music heroes. Putting down a few for him now. All my friends are bummed, many who knew him professionally and personally throughout the decades.

RIP Lemmy.

In addition to all that’s being said about him, he was a super nice guy. I ran into him at the NAMM show in Anaheim back in 1994. I was walking out of the hall while he was walking in, and he went out of his way to walk over and smile and shake my hand, and say hello. I’ll always remember that.

I have friends that flew all the way from Japan to attend Motorboat festivals, and they always sent back great pictures of them hanging out with Lemmy. I have always heard he was a super sweet and awesome guy too. What a legend.
