Thursday on MSNBC, the former Gov. Ed Rendell (D-PA), also the former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, said in the presidential election debates, any Democrat,Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)16%, Martin O'Malley, or Hillary Clinton will "expose" Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's "lack of knowledge about things like the nuclear triad."
Rendell said, "I think any Democrat,Bernie Sanders, Martin O'Malley,one-on-one with Donald Trump would be very advantageous. Donald does well when he controls the agenda. When speaking to a Trump rally. Even in the debates, nine, ten candidates, you know, moderators don't get to press him on substantive issues well. But in a one-on-one debate in the fall, whether Hillary Clinton or any Democrat, Donald Trump's lack of knowledge about things like the nuclear triad will be exposed to the public big time. And I don't think he'll seem ready to be president at that point. "
When asked about Donald Trump's tweet telling Hillary Clinton to be careful, Rendell said, "Let me tell you, with everything that Hillary Clinton's been through in her public career, Hillary's not afraid. She's not afraid of anything. She's seen it all. She's heard it all. She's been attacked by people a lot tougher and a lot smarter than Donald Trump."

[[Trump knows there are 50 states]]
Trump should use that fact “At least I know how many states there are”
We all know why Obama was elected. That is irrelevant in the current situation. There has never been anything but a double standard where Dems are concerned.
I’m supporting Cruz at this point but have no doubt that both Cruz and Trump can crush any of the dims in a debate.
Poor Ed, what else would one expect him to say. LOL
We still don’t know what kind of a ‘trip’ President Obama was on that night. Some kind of secret mission he is still unwilling to disclose.
He’s said that the president never really goes on vacation yet he was strangely absent for hours and unaccountable during the Benghazi terrorist attack. Was he in bed with his pet goat?
Nope; Hillary would eat Cruz alive; she doesn’t “play fair” and also doesn’t truly debate.
I personally think most undecided voters are lefty morons anyway. They just want to think of themselves as the decisive factor in any election. Maybe I’m just cynical but I don’t put much faith in those people period.
Ed Rendell and knowledge. lol
You give the lofos far too much credit and not enough to Trump !
Is that how Obama won over the lofos...by being "knowledgeable" ?
You're really funny ! LOL
The left are going to expose Trump-s -lack of knowledge-?
Dear Leader-s Gaffs
-R-S-P-E-C-T-(trying to quote franklin-s song)
-And finally, Bos, I just want to say thank you for Youkilis-(after boston traded him to Chicago)
-Even though most people agree... I-m presenting a fair deal, the fact that they don-t take it means that I should somehow do a Jedi mind-meld with these folks and convince them to do what-s right-(mixing up star trek and star wars)
-When I meet with world leaders, what-s striking â whether it-s in Europe or here in Asia-
(As he spoke to Hawaiians)
-We-re the country that built the Intercontinental Railroad-
-We-re not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that-s fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you-ve made enough money. But, you know, part of the American way is, you know, you can just keep on making it if you-re providing a good product or providing good service. We don-t want people to stop, ah, fulfilling the core responsibilities of the financial system to help grow our economy-
-One such translator was an American of Haitian descent, representative of the extraordinary work that our men and women in uniform do all around the world â Navy Corpse-Man Christian Brossard-he pronounced the ps in -Corpsman-
-The Cambridge police acted stupidly-
-The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system-(At least he spoke the truth for once)
-It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There-s a lot of â I don-t know what the term is in Austrian, wheeling and dealing-(While speaking to Germans- Imagine if President Bush had said any of these things?)
-No, no. I have been practicing...I bowled a 129. It-s like â it was like Special Olympics, or something-
-I think when you spread the wealth around, it-s good for everybody-(Tipping his hand to Joe the plumber- Imagine the outrage by the press if President Bush said he was going to redistribute everyone-s hard earned money?)
-What I was suggesting â you-re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith-
-I-m here with the Girardo family here in St. Louis-(Speaking via satellite while in Kansas)
-Let me introduce to you the next President â the next Vice President of the United States of America, Joe Biden-
-Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee â which is my committee â a bill to call for divestment from Iran as way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don-t obtain a nuclear weapon-(A committee he is NOT on)
-Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel-s. It will be a strong friend of Israel-s under a McCain...administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel-s under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change-(uh huh)
-On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes â and I see many of them in the audience here today â our sense of patriotism is particularly strong-
-I-ve now been in 57 states â I think one left to go-
-Why can-t I just eat my waffle-
-It-s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren-t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations-
-The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn-t. But she is a typical white person, who, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn-t know, you know, there-s a reaction that-s been bred in our experiences that don-t go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way, and that-s just the nature of race in our society-
-Come on! I just answered, like, eight questions-(That-s fine Mr President, you can take the next 7 years off then- we don-t want to overwork you)
-In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died â an entire town destroyed-(12 people died)
Yup- and there-s plenty more folks- but you-d never know it because the media keeps it quiet- but if it had been President Bush saying any one of these things, he-d have been hounded for years)
The federal government has a website that teaches immigrants how to sign up for welfare programs once they arrive in the United States.
crap=- missed some odd characters- when is FR going to fix this? It’s getting tiresome
I’m just saying, if Trump comes across as out of his depth in a debate, he may lose his cross over voters and not gain any new support.
Trump knows what the other candidates don’t, and that is America is dying and needs to be saved by someone who loves her.
I really don’t get that vibe from any of the other candidates. America is in a desperate situation as she is being purposely murdered by her government and leftist people.
Hillary does not want to debate Cruz. She knows, even if you don’t, that he is the toughest challenge she could face. Cruz did not have a national debate forum named for him for nothing. If he can persuade 9 Justices on the SC and win multiple cases, he is a formidable opponent.
Oh and I suppose mr rendell has intelligence far beyond mortal man
What you fail to consider is that a leader manages. For example, he would arrange for a bunch of concrete trucks to show up on time, with the correct permits and licences, and dump the concrete where it is supposed to go. I doubt that he would be expected to know the engine displaced of the concrete trucks. Wisdom is not what a man knows but how he employs the knowledge he has. Only pedants think otherwise.
I didn’t know what it was until after the debate, either. The question was a plant for Rubio by the GOP. How much of foreign politics does any governor know? The question in the minds of many uncommitted voters (women will vote for hildebeast) is what are you going to do for our nation. If there are no more attacks until the election, people will settle down about security.
And now we learn that Hillary was probably too hung over to even make debriefings about Benghazi the next day.
