It's hard to know where to begin with this gross misinformation. Let's start with the fact that we work closely with murderous dictators every day and have been doing so for as long as I have been alive and longer I'm sure. The simple fact is, only a mad man suggests "punching the Russians in the nose" as Kasich did or looks for opportunities to shoot their jets down in no fly zones as Chris Cristie suggests, especially when they're conducting air operations against actual murderous facsists-namely ISIS.

In fact, given the murderous barbaric heinous acts of cruelty perpetrated by ISIS and Obama's increasingly obvious reluctance to deal with them so long as they serve his purposes in Syria, I don't think George Will has any business accusing Donald Trump of cozying up to murderers. Trump is laying the foundation of peace. George Will and his ilk are undermining that foundation.

I suppose it's also worth mentioning that Will is hardly the unwavering voice of true conservatism and actually has a reputation of attacking and undermining conservatives. He attacked Newt Gingrich in 2011 and helped Romney secure the nomination. He attacked Sarah Palin 2007. he attacked Ann Coulter in 2013. He is also an atheist, is opposed to the death penalty, supports amnesty, and supports drug legalization.

Do the math.

There actually is a Conservative Party, IIRC.

Other than that — what the heck is he talking about?

Never trust a pompous ass with a bow tie. Uttering ‘conservative’ and his name in the same sentence is grammatical heresy.

Evidence shows Conservatives have no real say in the agenda of the Republican party.

When George Will says “Conservative”, he means “Chamber of Commerce Cheap Labor Express”.

End of the Conservative party? NO! The end of the GOPe party of republicrats, one could hope. But with the election of Trump or Cruz, one would hope for a rebirth of a Conservative party.

And with a Jeb nomination, we get a continuance of the RINO party?

Drama much? Based on the last 7 years or more, what is the name of this fantasy "conservative party" he speaks of?

Why would Trump be the end of something that perhaps exists only in the mind and emotions of George.

The Republican party has long ago rejected its own voter base of conservatives. Bush was more interested in pleasing liberals than conservatives, even though liberals hated him. What senses does that make?

The end of conservatives. We’ve been hearing this since the beginning of time.

"unassuageable"

Nice try, you four-eyed Uniparty spearcatcher.

All these years I thought he was just milquetoast, when it turns out he was a Uniparty puke.

Hey, George Will - don't you have a Washington cocktail party to make it to today? Don't bother to write anything...

A man who ridiculed the Moral Majority, and looks down his condescending nose at the Christian right is complaining about Trump being an atheist.

George "Uniboy" Will wrote:

Trump has reveled in the approval of Vladimir Putin, murderer and war criminal.

Odd. I don't recall Uniboy Will writing these words about Barack "Doubletap Dronebomber" Obama, murderer and war criminal.

Oh, THAT'S RIGHT - George Will is a Uniparty Demopublican Republicrat, and would never DARE to criticize The Leader.

He'd get uninvited to all the Big doings in The City...
