Stop the presses! According to a new poll by Quinnipiac University on Tuesday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) destroys Republican candidate Donald Trump in a general election by 13 percentage points. In this new poll, Sanders has 51 percent to Trump's 38 percent. If this margin held in a general election, Democrats would almost certainly regain control of the United States Senate and very possibly the House of Representatives.
It is high time and long overdue for television networks such as CNN to end their obsession with Trump and report the all-important fact that in most polls, both Hillary Clinton and Sanders would defeat Trump by landslide margins. In the new Quinnipiac poll, Clinton would defeat Trump by 7 percentage points, which is itself impressive and would qualify as a landslide, while the Sanders lead of 13 points would bring a landslide of epic proportions.

Clinton or Sanders would beat Trump. I do not doubt that one bit. The majority of people in this country who have seen Trump’s antics do not want such a blow hard, out of control, trashy mouth, tacky tweeting during the night, president. He wants to win to say he won - I hope he doesn’t for the country’s sake.
When has a Quinnipiac poll ever favored a non-progressive.
Oh Noes! I guess we better dump Trump right now and throw our support behind the only one this expert feels could possibly win, I’m sure he advise jebito. OR, we could just ignore the ravings of a lunatic.
In that election turnout would be about 90%, with everyone voting against the other guy.
Unless its Cruz instead of Trump and if the dipwad voters elect Hellary or a Bernie then they will deserve all the rotten things coming their way.
Somebody been smoking too much of de herb.
Hahaha any poll showing Sanders beating anyone has some serious issues, anyone looked under the covers of this one yet?
Don’t underestimate Bernie the commie. He has a lot of voter appeal (some on the same general grounds as the Donsld —people that are fed up, revolted by Obams Hillary Jeb Christie McConnell pelosi and all the rest of the corruptoids thst hevr been selling us put). But I don’t think Bernie csn get the nomination given Hillary is reportedly paying for the DNC headquarters
I’m at the point where I consider this election to be a change election. I saw Ted Cruz speak today and I back him but the country wants change. And to kick the democratic Washington media nexus in the nuts. Hard

Your credentials far exceed mine; my only experience is following politics as an average Joe for the past 40+ years.
I see the 2016 election as the most important in our history.
0bama being elected twice does not bode well for our side, but the so-called "Misery Index" is felt even among the sheeple.
I agree with you, Trump is abrupt and bombastic, he appeals to folks who are sick and tired of politicians of all persuasions.
It's a long way to the convention, my hopes and campaign dollars are with Ted Cruz.
Yeah. I’m for Sen. Cruz and won’t vote for trump under any circumstances. But this poll is silly.
I wouldn't be so sure. People who think that Trump or Cruz getting the GOP nod will be a re-run of the disastrous Goldwater defeat need to understand that Kennedy's assassination was an out-from-left-field event. And Michelle Obama is no Jackie Kennedy, charisma-wise. All the more reason to wish Obama a long and healthy life. It was also apparent from an early stage that Goldwater was in trouble, but even he improved from those initial polls:

And that is going to be where the problems are in the general if trump wins the primary. He will pick up some Dems and Indies but lose some Rino’s. This thing is a long way from over.
Alan Colmes’ grandfather.
Trying to give the RNC all the help they need, right Hill?
