I'll cut to the chase:

If someone wants to impress me, they can buy me a bottle of Urziger Wurzgarten Auslese. You can probably buy a bottle of the 2013 vintage for under $40.

I'd be really impressed if I was given a bottle of Piesporter Michelberg Auslese. My palate is not so discerning that I could tell the difference between the two, and Piesport gets a bad rap IMO. You can find it almost anywhere for under $15.

If there is an "AP #" on the label, then it was tested by the German government. Urzig is a great town, but auslese is auslese.
