Puts one in mind a little bit of the scene in ‘A Bridge Too Far’ in which James Caan holds a gun to the surgeon’s head and insists the doc examine Caan’s lieutenant.
Caan got put on report for ten seconds or so. It’s a different world nowadays, and not for the better.
Great story (stories) and much appreciated this Christmas season :)
Have I bought DMSO from tack supply houses? Yes! I see all kinds of meds there going for cheap. Also via eBay and Amazon in a lesser way.
Vets have skills plus getting out in the field more (livestock vets) it gives them a more relaxed and REAL perspective. Cool on your baby’s sex!!! Years ago or what have you.
All due respect but you neglected to mention that the organ_donor_profiteering_vampire_complex here wanted a young mans (women too) organs such as this guy who is 34 years old.
I posted photos here of him doing very well...alive and kicking
This is a good reason to NEVER agree to donating organs.
Dad has lifetime bragging rights.
Iatrogenic deaths are lowballed slightly more than 200,000 a year, maybe 225,000. But some say that doesnt count indirect stuff like deaths by years on prescriptions, etc.
When I read this story earlier today, what struck me the most wasn’t that the father held a standoff in the hospital.
Rather, it was that his son was declared “brain dead,” yet it’s obvious he certainly was not.
“So, to harvest organs and feed the money tree that is the transplant business, the medical establishment have to justify murdering their patients ... Obviously this cannot be affected other than through the use of massive propaganda campaigns, so to convince people of how wonderful it is that you become an organ donor, and âgive the gift of lifeâ - a truly disgusting irony, since you are actually sanctioning your own murder if you sign a donor card. The entire enterprise is evil.”
And this is ONE of the reasons I hate Jeb Bush with a passion. He is a worthless statist who went along with the murder of Terri Schiavo. There are serious constitutional issues connected with how the “medical profession” operates. If you think that’s BS, try to check yourself out of a hospital against “the wishes” of the medical staff. It is only then that you realize the thin line that exists for your personal liberty. Just look at what that hospital in Boston did to that young girl (and her family) a couple of years ago with the complicity of “the child wealfare agancy” and the courts.
Really? A living son isn't enough?
I wonder what the mother and the brother think now.
I haven't the slightest doubt about that, and in Canada , the left in Quebec have made physician euthanasia legal. The left in the USA are about to do the same.
If you are over 70 y.o.a., you need to be very specific about your power of attorney and end of life care , and WHERE you will get it, or you could die many years too soon.
And Insurance Companies that feed off both lawyers and doctors, and eat a few politicans on New Year’s.
A close friend who’s a nurse warned me never to sign an organ donor card because doctors are more likely to let you die in a critical situation if they think there are some good quality organs to be harvested.
The man is hero. Deserves their equivalent of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
a hero.
Desperate times, desperate measures.
“This is a good reason to NEVER agree to donating organs.”
I agree. Having had a Near Death Experience (NDE) I would never agree to donate my organs. Ever watch the 1978 movie “Heaven Can Wait” starring Warren Beatty? (Actually a remake of a 1943 film)
Makes you think twice about the decision to donate organs due to the rush to harvest.

Amen.
Perhaps B. Hussien will call for a national healthcare ban.
Or wait - forget the ban on handguns! Lets issue a call for a national ban of Obamacareless.
A FRiend that is a surgeon once asked me what do you call the person who graduates last in his class from medical school?
Doctor.
