The Falcon 9 Rocket cleared the tower at 8:29 EST and the rocket seem on point to deliver its payload into space as the first stage is on point to return for a landing tonight with the landing burn coming up
My personal opinion based on what I have read about his Tesla company it is a loser, but SpaceX is certainly a winner.
I think if Tesla invested in fuel cell technology they would have a chance.
After the MECO (1st stage Main Engine Cutoff) the 1st stage had to separate from the 2nd stage, turn the opposite direction and fire 3 of it’s 8 engines to slow down and return to Cape Canaveral. It shut down the 3 engines, coasted and fires a single engine at the end for landing.
Correction, the 1st stage has 9 engines.
Sweet video! Thanks!
>>Did the same thing. Orange burst at separation then bright blue on the 2nd stage which lasted a few seconds then turned into a tiny star moving very fast.<<
Pretty much describes it. I’m still in love, morning after. lol
