The force is strong in Berlin.
A church in the German capital invited âStar Warsâ fans to attend a special service Sunday themed on the sci-fi blockbuster in an attempt to attract more young people into the pews.
About 500 people heeded the call and attended the service, some carrying light saber props or wearing Darth Vader masks. It was more than twice as many as usually come to Zion Church on a Sunday.
âWe were very happy to see so many people in the church today,â said Protestant pastor Lucas Ludewig said after the service. âItâs great that there are subjects that people are interested in. They trust us to make them part of the church service without making it too Christian or too Star Wars, but to find a good compromise.â

Religious pandering is worse than political pandering. And as a conservative I cannot stand either.
Wouldn’t want to make a church “too Christian” now.
“They trust us to make them part of the church service without making it too Christian”
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
As I once heard someone say, “You will know that Satan has taken over a city when the Churches are full and Christ is not preached.”
Hillary ended up the debate with "May the force be with you."
More broadly speaking, I'm wondering if the forces are technology, implements of war, and space travel.
I will ask google.
Saw this on the evening news. Gee, I can’t imagine why the world is going to Hell in a handbasket so fast.
cry
Totally agree. The man is an ass.
“god of forces” is the Devil himself.
This plays out in Revelation 13 and why the punishment is so severe in Revelation 14.
This is sad awful but sad at the same time.
Pray
It is a real indictment of our society.
Don’t preach hell, don’t preach sin, don’t even preach repentance....
Just entertain em’ and make sure they leave happy!
Laodicean Churches paving the road to hell for millions.
I don’t remember “The Great Commission” saying anything about being seeker friendly.
What next, a Lady Gaga theme to get people to go to mass?
“I stopped outside a church house where the people like to sit. They say they want the Kingdom, but they don’t want God in it.”
Some parts are clear though, and this would tend to confirm that the god of forces is the beast (one or more individuals?) is possessed by the Devil and "Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?"
Later it talks about making war against the saints so that definitely refers to strength, implements of war and force.
I do believe literally about the mark of the beast and the punishment for taking it and/or worshipping the beast is the lake of fire forever.
Rev. 13 mentions male virgins. There would be some Christian male virgins who are not priests or monks but I wonder if that would include the latter, the ones who keps celibate and chaste.
I still don't know what or who the first and second beasts are.
The first beast is the Antichrist. This is a man, called the “son of perdition” or “he who goes into destruction” by the Apostle Paul. This same term was used on only one other man, Judas Iscariot, as described by Jesus Christ.
The second beast is the False Prophet or “religious” leader. He is actually the one who causes the people of the Earth to put up an image to the First Beast Antichrist and gives it power (obviously by the Devil) to speak.
So you have an unholy trinity opposing the Real Trinity.
Real God of Israel vs. False “god” of Earth Satan
Real Messiah of Israel vs. False “messiah” of Revelation 13 Antichrist
Real Holy Spirit of God vs. False Prophet of Revelation 13
And that’s why the choice will be so stark and the consequences so extreme.
Reject the Mark of the Beast - head cut off - eternal life.
Accept the Mark of the Beast - live, buy and sell - eternal damnation.
