Some parts are clear though, and this would tend to confirm that the god of forces is the beast (one or more individuals?) is possessed by the Devil and "Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?"
Later it talks about making war against the saints so that definitely refers to strength, implements of war and force.
I do believe literally about the mark of the beast and the punishment for taking it and/or worshipping the beast is the lake of fire forever.
Rev. 13 mentions male virgins. There would be some Christian male virgins who are not priests or monks but I wonder if that would include the latter, the ones who keps celibate and chaste.
I still don't know what or who the first and second beasts are.
The first beast is the Antichrist. This is a man, called the “son of perdition” or “he who goes into destruction” by the Apostle Paul. This same term was used on only one other man, Judas Iscariot, as described by Jesus Christ.
The second beast is the False Prophet or “religious” leader. He is actually the one who causes the people of the Earth to put up an image to the First Beast Antichrist and gives it power (obviously by the Devil) to speak.
So you have an unholy trinity opposing the Real Trinity.
Real God of Israel vs. False “god” of Earth Satan
Real Messiah of Israel vs. False “messiah” of Revelation 13 Antichrist
Real Holy Spirit of God vs. False Prophet of Revelation 13
And that’s why the choice will be so stark and the consequences so extreme.
Reject the Mark of the Beast - head cut off - eternal life.
Accept the Mark of the Beast - live, buy and sell - eternal damnation.
