Work is slow? How's the house?

Yeah, only handled three cases in seven and a half hours so far tonight. I'm 60 minutes from a cold one. Lost a big contract last week, but we knew that was coming. They're practically begging people to take VTO to keep payroll down. Even polled those of us who work Christmas and New Year's and asked if we wanted to take one or the other off. House is looking nice and festive, inside and out. Four trees again this year, centerpieced the nativity scene on the mantle, Presents under the tree. Just stoked the wood stove for the cats, and the missus picked up all the UL-rated hardware we need to have the contractor finish the fireplace chimney in the living room. Redskins and Steelers won, Cowboys and Giants lost, so all is good this evening. LOL Sounds like The Great Gildersleeve is in the bullpen.....
