I just added items #1,162 through #1,172 to my list of Obama’s lies, lawbreaking, etc.

Items 1 through 500 can be found at https://danfromsquirrelhill.wordpress.com/2013/08/15/obama-252/

Items 501 through 1,000 can be found at https://danfromsquirrelhill.wordpress.com/2015/12/04/obama-part-2/

Items 1,001 through 1,172 can be found at https://danfromsquirrelhill.wordpress.com/2015/12/04/obama-part-3/

Here are the new entries:

1,162) Although the so-called justification for Obamacare is that health insurance constitutes “interstate commerce,” Obamacare policies are not actually allowed to be sold across state lines

Supporters of Obamacare try to justify it by saying that health insurance constitutes “interstate commerce.” However, Obamacare policies are not actually allowed to be sold across state lines.

1,163) Obamacare’s prohibition against selling health insurance across states lines caused insurance premiums to skyrocket

Competition, when it’s allowed, keeps prices down. However, Obamacare forces people to buy health insurance in the same state where they live. Obamacare policies are not allowed to be sold across state lines. As a result, there was very little competition, and this caused prices to skyrocket. In October 2015, the New York Times wrote:

Many Need to Shop Around on HealthCare.gov as Prices Jump, U.S. Says

In Tennessee, the state insurance commissioner approved a 36 percent rate increase for the largest health insurer in the state’s individual marketplace. In Iowa, the commissioner approved rate increases averaging 29 percent for the state’s dominant insurer….

… only one insurer is offering coverage in the marketplace in Wyoming, and consumers have a choice of just two insurers in Alaska, Hawaii, Oklahoma, South Dakota and West Virginia….

In Minnesota, officials approved increases averaging 49 percent for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota…

The Iowa insurance commissioner, Nick Gerhart, approved rate increases averaging 29 percent for Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, the state’s dominant health insurer, and 20 percent for Coventry Health Care….

… in Hawaii, the insurance commissioner this month approved rate increases averaging 27 percent for the Hawaii Medical Service Association and 34 percent for Kaiser Permanente health plans.

1,164) Illegally ignored two Freedom of Information requests regarding Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s training on how to handle classified documents

In August 2015, Juducal Watch filed two separate Freedom of Information requests regarding Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s training on how to handle classified documents. The Obama administration illegally ignored both of them.

1,165) Waited more than four years to arrest Jared Fogle for having illegal sex with underage children

In August 2015, it was reported that the Obama administration had waited more than four years to arrest Subway restaurant spokesperson Jared Fogle for having illegal sex with underage children.

1,166) Falsely said Tashfeen Malik was not a threat

In July 2014, the Obama administration allowed Tashfeen Malik to enter the U.S. from Saudi Arabia, after the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security said she was not a threat.

However, in December 2015, Malik and her husband (who was born in the U.S.) murdered 14 people in San Bernardino, California.

Afterward, the New York Times wrote:

Tashfeen Malik, who with her husband carried out the massacre in San Bernardino, Calif., passed three background checks by American immigration officials as she moved to the United States from Pakistan. None uncovered what Ms. Malik had made little effort to hide — that she talked openly on social media about her views on violent jihad.

She said she supported it. And she said she wanted to be a part of it.

1,167) Attorney General Loretta Lynch falsely said Islamophobia was a “greater fear” than Islamic terrorism

In December 2015, after Islamic terrorists murdered 14 people in San Bernardino, California, Attorney General Loretta Lynch said:

“The fear that you have just mentioned is in fact my greatest fear as a prosecutor, as someone who is sworn to the protection of all of the American people, which is that the rhetoric will be accompanied by acts of violence… My message to not just the Muslim community but to the entire American community is: we cannot give in to the fear that these backlashes are really based on.”

1,168) Attorney General Loretta Lynch falsely said Islamophobia was a “greater fear” than anti-semetism

However, according to the FBI, in 2014, there were four times as many hate crimes based on anti-semitism as there were based on Islamophobia.

1,169) Told the FBI and the National Security Council to falsely “downplay” the role of terrorism as a motivation for the December 2015 San Bernardino terrorist attack

In December 2015, after Islamic terrorists murdered 14 people in San Bernardino, California, Obama told the FBI and the National Security Council to “downplay” the role of terrorism as a motivation for the attack.

1,170) Shut down an investigation that could have prevented the 2015 San Bernardino terrorist attack

In December 2015, after Islamic terrorists murdered 14 people in San Bernardino, California, it was reported that in 2013, the Obama administration had shut down an investigation that could have prevented the attack.

1,171) The “most transparent administration in history” said it may never reveal why a guy named Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez murdered five members of the U.S. military in Chattanooga, Tennessee, because it did not want to “smear” him

In July 2015, a guy named Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez murdered five members of the U.S. military in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Four months later, it was reported that the Obama administration may never reveal Abdulazeez’s motivation for committing the murders. FBI Director James Comey said:

“Sometimes the way we investigate requires us to keep information secret. That’s a good thing. We don’t want to smear people.”

1,172) ) The “most transparent administration in history” refused to release the immigration records of 72 U.S. residents who had been arrested on terror-related charges

In August 2015, U.S. Senators Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama) asked the Obama administration to release the immigration records of 72 U.S. residents who had been arrested on terror-related charges. Four months later, it was reported that the Obama administration had ignored this request.

"I know how to spell."

Objective evidence notwithstanding.
