Defenses on these machines can counter US-made TOW missiles
The Fourth Division of the Syrian army has been equipped with at least 6 modern T-90MS Tagil tanks, provided by the Russian Federation. Their function is to help the Syrian Arab Army advance in the southern province of Aleppo. ...
The T-90MS and its outstanding capability to destroy incoming TOW and M79 missiles appears to be perfect for a theater of war like the one in Syria. In 4 and a half years of conflict, more than 9,000 BGM-71E3B TOW and M79 anti-tank systems have been introduced in the country. Their capability to easily penetrate T-55 and T-72 tanks is the main reason why the Syrian Arab Army has had so many problems gaining ground in the southern province of Aleppo.

Just wait until the Russians gives TOWs to the Kurds to blow up Turk tanks...
IED will flip it like a pancake....
I thought ISIS was hours from annihilation, I thought ISIS shaved their beards and ran away, looks like Iran’s drawing back and Putin the Pedophile doesn’t know what to do.
I love the idea of “reactive armor.”
From that angle the turret looks like it’s about 3 feet tall. How does the crew function in that space?
“Pedophile?”
In the Daily Mail and other too.
We have been supplying the jihadis with TOW missiles.
McCain, Grahamnesty and Rubio joined Obama in thinking that was a good idea.
The turret basket extends down into the hull.
9,000 missiles at 180k each...and suddenly we can’t afford to buy bombs to use against ISIS.
All turret baskets extend into the hull. The Russians must have moved a lot of gear that normally is in the turret to some other place in the hull.I would think that the main gun barrel would have very limited depression with that turret design.

"the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the [20th] century" -Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the collapse of the Soviet Union...
"World democratic opinion has yet to realize the alarming implications of President Vladimir Putin's State of the Union speech on April 25, 2005, in which he said that the collapse of the Soviet Union represented the 'greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century.'..."
"The more I see and read about Mr. Putin, in power since 1999, and his 'managed democracy,' the more apprehensive I become about the future of Russia and the safety of its neighbors.
If Putin believes that the dissolution of the Soviet Union into 15 independent states represents the 'greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century,' then it follows that Putin might well believe he should do something to repair the loss..."

Well, they shouldn’t be shooting at M1s anyway.
Of course I don’t know what the IDF uses.
Blah blah ...

How did they get "introduced" in the country? In the last 4.5 years?
Up yours, Putinista.
