COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Santa Claus says it's OK to skip church this Christmas, according to a series of billboards paid for by American Atheists.
The billboards have been set up in Colorado Springs and in Raleigh, North Carolina. In Colorado Springs, there's one located near Fountain at Exit 128 and another near a Stratmoor Hills neighborhood.
"We want people to know that going to church has absolutely nothing to do with being a good person, " said David Silverman, president of American Atheists. "The things that are most important during the holiday seasonâspending time with loved ones, charity, and being merry-have nothing to do with religion."

If they did not hate Christians there would be no need to post billboards.
Oh that will surely cause a lot of people to turn their backs on their faith.
Only going after Christians again....cowards.
You don’t “earn” a spot in Heaven through good behavior. Without faith, you are lost.
Overwhelmingly, Colorado Springs is a *very* Christian area.
Exactly the reason for the choice of the two cities.
“We want people to know that going to church has absolutely nothing to do with being a good person, “ said David Silverman, president of American Atheists. “The things that are most important during the holiday seasonââ¬âspending time with loved ones, charity, and being merry-have nothing to do with religion.”

It defies logic, we are created in the image of God. Jesus is the center of it all and without Him there is no lasting eternal joy. Attending church isn’t about being a good person, it is because I know I need a savior because no matter how much I try to be a good person, I am sinful and need forgiveness and grace.
Also billboards really target children/teenagers this is the audience they seek to provoke, to believe lies. Shameful.

I saw that opening line and thought "An atheist said the word Christmas instead of holiday?", so I clicked on the link just to see. Nope... as expected the words Christmas was never mentioned.
As for the rest, I am not surprised by anything atheist libtards do... but I admit I would have been surprised if they said "Christmas" like the opening line of the article said they did.
Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
The athiests are wasting their money on this.
for people who don’t believe in god they sure spend a lot of time and money trying to deny him.
So atheists believe in Santa Claus?
Christians already know that going to church does not make them good people. They go to church to worship, hear the word, and fellowship with other Christians. Churches are filled with sinners, the same way that hospitals are filled with sick people!
As usual, atheists totally miss the point.
I have a Nephew who claims to be Atheist. He constantly posts on Facebook mocking God and Christians. One of these days I’m going to ask him why he spends so much time mocking something he doesn’t believe in. Also he is one of those guys who listens to hardcore something or other that talks about Satan and Hell all the time. Don’t know how you can believe in Hell and the Devil and not believe the opposite is also true.
Quick. Someone get some Scafolding and change the word "Church" to "Mosque."
FORCE these bastards to attack Islam. Everybody wins. The Muslims Kill them. The Muslims get noticed for more Killing. We end up getting rid of the atheists and further stir up concern regarding Muslims.
This is an oportunity for us. Conservatives in Colorado should do some preparation. They should get a sheet of paper printed large enough to cover up the word "Church" with the word "Mosque", get some scaffolding, and slap that new word over the existing word.
Make the Atheist organizations attack Islam, and then force them to apologize for NOT attacking Islam. (Cause they will deny they put that word there, and then people will ask them why not?)
Exactly.
The Athiests aren’t promoting Athieism with this. They’re throwing the middle finger to Christians.
