Yep.
According to Trump it was the right wing extremist hate speech that was the problem.
Trump Blames Geller for Being Attacked by Jihadis: âWhat is She Doing Drawing Muhammad?â
could you paraphrase what you said please?
My box isn’t set-up to do video. Is there a summary or transcript available?
Trump inconsistancy here should be a big eye opener and its a good thing Cruz did not agree with him.
Mixed feelings on Pam Geller— has the right to draw Mohammed (dirty tasbard he was) however when leftists trash Jesus or christian symbols many of us don’t like it one bit.
Then again we christians and jews dont blow up people and things for their views.
LOL
Trump was wrong in denouncing Geller and he should apologize.
I don’t think he will but he should.
He could really use her on board with his campaign.
Trump is a wind sock. He points whichever way the wind blows.
When the Clintons were riding high Trump was right there with them, lets go with the Clintons.
Attempted mass murder of Pam Geller and co. and it was right wing extremist hate speech that was the problem and Trump was on board with it.
Trump is a self promoting BS artist and that is his best trait.
I think that you're a tad over the top.
You got it. He IS all over the place, and I am very quickly walking back my prior second spot support for him, still for Cruz, not so much for Carson or Trump.
Hillary outweighs Tashfeen, even before the latter was drained, courtesy of the SBPD.
Brilliant!
Puts immense pressure on Muslims to police their own.
We have a No Fly List time for them to created theirs.
Every attack close - 6 months no visas.
Trump doesn’t believe in unnecessary provocation.
Geller’s Mohammed Cartoon Contest was provocative. Personally, I don’t mind provoking the creeps at all. But apparently Donald thinks it is unnecessary.
I think it is a good way of drawing them out to reveal the bad ones. Maybe Donald will see it that way.
Provocative how?
Trump knocked her once at the time of the incident; however, I think he immediately saw the error of his assumptions about Geller, and has never knocked her since, not even once. He should have gotten more information about her first. but Trump shoots from the hip, and occasionally draws too fast, lol. But that’s Trump, and it is also what makes him endearing, as well as occasionally exasperating.
So Trump telling all Muslims they are banned is not provacative? But exercising your 1st amendment to a drawing contest to Trump is? Pretzel logic.
That is perfectly reasonable, I’d say.
I support Geller over Trump as it relates to what he said about her and her contest.
Trump was wrong to criticize Geller. His comment about her was not well thought out. But he’s right on this issue. I would imagine, if someone were to ask him, he might admit he was wrong.
I understand Muslims say it is forbidden to draw or make images of their prophet. So what Geller was doing was provoking them.
To me they should ignore it, but the cartoon contest managed to draw out 2 Muslims who were ready to shoot up the place. So I think if we go to war with Muslims, it will be just fine to provoke them in any way possible, because it draws them out into the open.
I am not going to close my mind and heart to Donald because he thought Geller was over the top with it. Maybe she was, but Donald can change his mind. Maybe down the road he will reconsider Geller’s contribution.
Another thing is, Donald is all about style. If his wife Melania says Geller lacks finesse or ‘face’ to be the Muslim wrangler, then I expect Donald to go with Melania’s view. And Melania is no dummy.
Geller is not a good ‘advertisement’ for whatever reason to those that work in the haute couture of NY, Paris etc. But when the SHTF and war breaks out which is what is happening now, then ‘fashion’ takes a backseat and the nasty folks emerge; Patton, etc. Geller can be nasty in her remarks, and I like that.
Donald also said the homo marriage decision of the USSC was the law and we had to respect it. I did not like that view of his, even though he was right. What I wanted to see from him was a rallying cry on what we as Americans could do to have that ruling reversed or voided. Ted Cruz came through on that one but not Donald. I was disappointed with Donald, but he’s going to swing and miss. I always thought of him as the Babe Ruth of politics, where he would swing and miss, swing and miss again, to the disappointment and souring of the crowds, and then BOOM! over the fence. Eventually he gets it right and he delivers, what I love about him.
