I’m looking forward to the Ham as well :-)

My birthday falls around Thanksgiving, and I received a couple of really cool cooking gifts - including one of those roaster ovens that sit on the counter, and can bake your ham while you use the big oven for the sides.

I had gotten into a conversation, on another thread, with a Freeper who had one and highly recommended it; and a little later we happened to be in the Target, where they had one on sale for 27 bucks! I said, “Buy me it!” and Husband bought it for me, and said ‘Happy Birthday!’ :-)

It’s definitely not the best - I wouldn’t cook a big turkey in it, and if you want one, I would suggest that you spend a little more money; but the one we’ve got works pretty well for our purposes. I tested it on a big casserole, and it came out fine; I think it will do well with a ham. As one reviewer said on Amazon: “It’s a metal box that gets hot”.

I’m anxious to try the ham in it.
