AOL (12/2) reports that as the Paris climate talks take place, a satellite image released by NASA, illustrates the view of Chinese smog from space. In reference to the image, NASA said, âThe brightest areas are clouds or fog, which have tinges of gray or yellow because of the air pollution,â adding, âOther cloud-free areas have a pall of gray haze that mostly blots out the cities below.â

But it still means Americans and Canadians should be paying carbon taxes because singling out the Chinese would be racist?
Well, this is CLEARLY America’s fault!
Empty whatever is left in your pockets onto the table, Evil American Taxpayers!
*SPIT*
These people are insane. Earth is going to win in the end. When our parasitic existence no longer suits Her, She will squash us like a bug.
Not too long ago the press mantra was that the US was polluting more than China.
There are cities in China that literally disappear from view due to the amount of smog.
Communism will save the World from Global Warming
A precise diagnosis of the irony involved. A one-world green commie government will make the environment far, far worse. I grow wearier and angrier at the left's lies every day. They lie about EVERYTHING!!!!! . . . including radical Muslim terrorists.
The Chinese smog has NOTHING to do with carbon dioxide.
That’s incorrect since CO2 is always a byproduct of the burning of coal. The chinese tend to burn “dirty” coal where sulfur is a major byproduct. However, water vapor can be a major contributor to global warming, if you believe in AGW.
I should have said, CO2 due to burning coal does not cause the chinese smog, but it is a component of the smog. Just as CO2 from automobiles is a component of the smog.
That’s nothing compared to when Mexico decides to burn fields. The smoke is so bad, Texans have to drive with their lights on to see. Try breathing that @_^(&#* day after day.
What I meant was that CO2, being invisible, is not causing the VISIBLE pollution.
Thanks Purdue77, extra to APoD.
