YES!!! If the Chicoms had a football team, I’d root for them to beat the legendary cheating Patriots.

I figured New England was very overrated for their record after seeing them nearly lose a game to a New York Giants team that has been downright awful for much of this season.

Wow. Do you actually have a clue about football?

The game started to deteriorate for the Pats when Hightower went down in the 2nd quarter. Denver started to get it going after that.

Add the loss of Gronk, the dropped punt, a couple stupid mistakes by the Pats O-line, a couple “questionable” calls that nullified big plays and wierd clock rulings... and the Patriots practice squad takes Denver into overtime.

Enjoy the win pony boys. The road to the SuperBowl goes through Foxboro, and you’ll probably see Hightower, Collins, Edelman, Amendola and Gronk healthy for 4 quarters.

That last comment was directed to NKP - not Alberta’s child.

Never a fan of the Manning’s so this would be a wonderful thing. The entire family is just overblown ego. Can’t stand any of them. Good riddance. Couldn’t happen to a better person.

New England was robbed by a couple of ridiculous calls. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of cheaters.

If every game’s officiating had been so one-sided against the Patriots, they’d probably be sitting at about 5-6 right now.

30 point lead in fantasy football before that game started. Thought I might possibly pull it out even though my opponent had Tom Brady, the Denver defense and a RB yet to play. They tied the score by halftime and I knew I was toast.

okay. I was pissed off .
try this on for size.
Roger Goodell has a hair up his ass for the Patriots and through stupid rules and horrible officiating has turned the National Football League into a quagmire of Pansies.
He is so determined to get Tom Brady, because he, Goodell has turned the League upside down, that football in and of itself is now like watching a soap opera.
Non sensical and incoherent, but like all good socialists Roger has made sure that certain teams have more influence than others, hence the Pete Carroll comment.
Worst officiated games….ever.

Passing turned football into “legalfest”. They only way to get the refs out of the game is to get rid of pass interference and stop protecting the qb and other “defenseless” players. Ain’t never gonna happen.

Did you ever nail it. My exact infuriating sentiments.

Brady can beat them all except for the in the pocket Goodell-NFL refs.

The Patriots aren’t my team, but I know top-down corrupt officiating when I see it.

It ain’t the football I grew up with either. At the very least can we decide on what’s a “Catch” ?

Couldn’t agree more. By the way, what makes for a “Catch” these days?

Yeah, but Goodell will bring his referees. Lotsa Luck!

yes. when the Gronk went down, that was their demise.

Did you see the look on Brady's face when Gronk went down? I really felt for him and it was some great dramatic camera work too, by the way. It almost seemed like the team didn't want to play without Gronk. That was the final straw.

Catch rules protect the receiver from fumbling, which protects offense. If a receiver can make an instantaneous, or even very quick catch, then when knocked out by the defender, it immediately becomes a fumble. Same protection for the offense as the beloved tuck rule.

The Gronk pass interference was the ridiculous call.

Thank you for taking the time to explain the NFL wussification of the “Catch” rules. I don’t think these same rules applied to Raymond Berry.
