Had to do it. Had to create the thread. The game is too damned good. This thread is reserved for hardcore gamers who play Fallout 4. Norm, KC, TADSLOS and I have hijacked so many threads discussing this game, I felt we needed our own thread.
Fallout 4 is amazing. The content is excessively large. There is so much to explore, you could replay this game 10 times and not find every mission or quest. The characters are so much better fleshed out than any other game I have played. Even the radio announcer of Diamond City Radio will have you doubling over in laughter, he's so inept at radio announcing. :) Your companions will pitch in with consistently new, sometimes insightful, and almost always area- or mission appropriate comments. I even got Piper (the hot Reporter chick) to sleep with me. It took a lot of sweet talking. But now she's in love. "Piper, how do you feel about our relationship?" Her answer: "Blue, this is as close to nirvana as I will ever find. Who knew a jaded reporter like me would find love in a wasteland?"
Fallout 4 is so graphics-intensive that I had to upgrade my video card to the GTX970 from Nividia, and I am so glad I did. 4 gigs of video memory, and a solid GPU array. Now I get 60 FPS (at the best) down to about 30 FOS (at the worst) with occasional dips to an unacceptable 24 FPS when in extremely busy, high clutter city areas with lots of combatants.
Our first topic: I want to mod the songs. I want change the Classical Radio Station to play songs I like.
I have six titles so far, that would fit in this game:
Filter's "Hey Man, Nice Shot" to be triggered during combat
Drowning Pool's "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor", also triggered during combat.
Lil Jon's "Turn Down For What"
Disturbed's "Down With The Sickness"
NIN's "Every Day Is Exactly The Same"
Any other suggestions?
I got a ripper. It says ‘Very Fast’ then I only get two melees in VATS. It sucks. My best melee weapon is Pickman’s Blade. Each hit stacks bleeding.
Oh, I found that one. Do I need to spec my character out for that one to be ridiculous? It was admittedly several levels ago when I found it.
I bet the bleeding effect would be ridiculous with shotguns or miniguns.
Power Armor Questions:
Is particular perk required in order to do repairs on Power Armor?
The Power Armor in the cage on the train. How to get to that?
There might be a skill required. Not sure. To get to power armor in the train cages, you have to hack the nearby terminal.
I am proud to report I am now level 20. Still questing and earning new crap everyday.

Had her. She was AMAZING!
The Institute has been destroyed. No more will it kidnap humans. The Synth attacks on my settlements have been put to an end.
But I am being treated like an pariah. Characters are berating me for killing "innocent" scientists.
Do they seriously think there was anyone working there who didn't know the Institute was building plastic people? (On an assembly line nonetheless!)
And maybe I'm just slow -- but I don't see how Shaun's plan that replacing humans with synthetic creatures was any way going to "save" humanity.
The top BOS brass have made me Darth Vader or something like that (black armor and all) for having done the dirtiest of their dirty work. But frankly, I never liked those guys or their program. Only backed them because it looked as though they alone could stop the Institute.
Bethesda -- you guys have a warped sense of humor.
Un-friggin-believable!
