Ohio State's 23-game winning streak is over. Ended by a 41 yard field with no time left.
It is beginning to look like Oklahoma State is about to suffer its first loss at the hands of Baylor.
Baylor 38, OkState 21 with 11:48 minutes remaining.
Arkansas and Miss State are having a game.
Miss was up by 2 TDs. AR passed them. They passed AR. AR passed them.
MS 51, AR 50 with 1:31 remaining
AR tries a field goal. Flubbed it. Miss State wins 51-50.
The Bucks have underperformed all year. Some of those wins against weak teams seemed to be less desire and more going through the motions. They’ll probably get a consolation prize bowl bid but overall a disappointing way to finish up.
Well, the team doesn’t set the schedule. They have to play who they are scheduled against and frankly didn’t really look too sharp all season, even against those weaker teams.
This Bobcat is sad to see the Buckeyes go down
as my pappy always told me, there’s only only two teams to root for in college football: ohio state and whoever’s playing against notre dame
My two favorite teams are whoever beats the Penn State Homosexual Pedophiles or the Missouri Maozzou Red Guards.
Thing is, I don't know who I'll root against if the Homosexual Pedophiles ever play the Maozzou Red Guards.
Can they both lose?
They have a say in nonconference games.
If they want to run with the big dogs, they have to get off the Big10 porch.
That's why sports is so unpredictable.
Thanks Perdogg. This doesn't come as a surprise, the Spartans had that one freakish loss to Nebraska, and have already beat the Wolverines (now, *they've* been surprising, nice job Harbaugh) in A-squared. They just need a victory over Penn State (UofM and OSU have both beaten the NL)...
We may just spoil your season. Tears and sniffles if that happens...
A lot of people “have a say”. The AD gets a lot of “input”, players, coaches, fans, administrators (i.e., bag men), alumni. In the end, the department sets the schedule. The players can only play the games that are set. And this year, for whatever reason, they have not met expectations, IMO.
It really does appear that as a team their hearts really were not in it for a lot of those games. Last year’s team seemed to get stronger as the season progressed. This year’s squad seemed to be phoning it in and when they met up with a team that matched up well, they couldn’t dig down and find the edge to get to the next level. Too bad, really. It’s very hard to repeat a championship season, a lot of expectations and when they aren’t met, it looks like a failure.
Hope so. I've kinda been a Mizzou fan til a couple weeks ago, my son's on faculty there. One of the few conservatives allowed on campus. as peyton manning would hum, "having tenure feels so good".
Oh, gee, thanks. Now that Manning jingle is stuck in my head. Lol.
How about the way that Cook totally dissed Archie Griffin when he snatched the MVP trophy from him and ignored him completely.
