Having previously disabled auto update on my Win 7 machine, I caught and hid KB 3097877 before it could damage Outlook. The only way that I knew there was a problem was through the post here on Free Republic.

This morning I went to the MS site with the description of the re-release and then to the manual download site. I downloaded and installed the update with no negative effect with Outlook.
