(this is a very short posting, apparently a letter to the editor, but I really like it)
Is Donald Trump a reminder of how we were in the 1970s?
I am a baby boomer and have a political attraction to Trump. Something was familiar about him.
He uses his freedom of speech with no fear. Threats will not persuade him to change who he is. He seems to be against âthe establishmentâ which in my day meant a government too long not being for and by the people.
Gee, he reminds me of âus,â hippie or flower children way back in the 1970s, protests for Vietnam, Nixon and Watergate. What do you think? I think itâs about time.
Donât forget to fight for your rights or they will be taken away.

Indeed.
I was just pondering how much the bikers in the local bar would be thrilled if Trump showed up to hang out.
;D
Just saw this now because of your link to it in a more recent post and I had to say “THANK YOU for expressing my thoughts”.
If Trump is able to take New York in the general election then Satan’s Prom Queen has no hope.
I’m sure they could afford to buy him a beer but then they’d probably lock him in and make him stay past closing time.
Or make him do karaoke.
;)
Obligatory multi-race child. . .seems ALL commercials these days have a multi-race couple and multi-race child. . .and more and more are featuring homosexuals so they can push perversion.
Puke.
Trump walks, talks and acts like a middle class kid from Queens. It really came out when he told horhay from Univision to “get outa’ here...”
I have noticed that also. I recall that Czar Obama named for education and I knew he was going to try to teach little boys to be queers. This entire Admin needs to be hung in the public square.
Being a Boomer he remembers America like it was when it was great.
And he remembers what the American people were before the 1965 immigration act turned it into a colony of the Third World.
It’s not a coincidence that America’s decline began when masses from the third world imported their values here.
Trump is going to be a really yuge President. :-) Go Trump.
HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
It seems it has not occurred to them that the Luke/Darth father/son relationship was arguably the most dysfunctional one, ever.
Well, except for a father/father/son relationship, that is.
LOL. . .good one.
Exactly; like Teddy Roosevelt, his money hasn’t taken him all that far out from what others, without that kind of wealth, believe and he sounds like an “EVERYMAN”. That’s a BIG part of his appeal and what none of the others have.
NYC school were integrated;even some private schools.
But the rest of your post is spot on.
You don’t get the humor.
He also told somebody “Sit down.” A viewer taped that and played it for her three dogs, who immediately obeyed their master’s voice. Viral.
It was on the Jimmy Kimmel show as part of a long anti-Trump skit that wasn’t funny, but this part was:

In 62-65?
Indeed.
Perverts. . .and maybe they do KNOW how dysfunctional it is and like it that way.
