Keely Mullen, an organizer for the Million Student March movement, joined Fox Business Network anchor Neil Cavuto on the air Thursday to discuss the movementâs demands for free public college, student debt cancelation and a $15-an-hour minimum wage for student workers. In the awkward 9-minute interview, Cavuto repeatedly cited facts and figures that seemed to fluster the student.
When asked who would pick up the tab for the demands she listed, Mullen said, âThe 1 percent of people who are hoarding the wealth and causing a catastrophe students are facing.â
âIf the 1 percent just had their taxes raised a few years ago back to almost 40 percent then to pay for the healthcare law, they had them raised another few percentage points, then they had their deductions limited to raise another couple points â depending on the state or locality â theyâre pushing over about 50 percent in taxes,â Cavuto told Mullen. âHow much more do you think they should pay?â
Cavutoâs question, asked within the first two minutes of the interview, became the centerpiece of the entire discussion, as Mullen was unable to provide a clear answer.

Hasn’t figured out its all the stuff you learn after you know it all that really counts.
If Keely is considered one of the "best and brightest" GOD save us
Or something equally worthless like my own lol
I have Bachelor’s in history and political science I thought my life was gonna be teaching a civil war but God had other plans for me I am currently working on my Master’s in biblical studies as I now wanna teach the gospel to my fellow millennials this girl is clearly see when she gets older
How did she get into college?
This sounds like something I would hear from a child.
Olde Daffynition: Tongue, a sex organ sometimes used for talking!
She joked about the fruit loop saying that there will always be a 1%.
Kelly said to her guest (not the fruit loop)
“Right, You are in the 1% and after you leave the country I will be in the new 1%”
Embarrassed?
I bet like all her friends are like so impressed with like how totally she owned that privileged old white guy. They will like say “you totally crushed it, girl!”
I don’t think he was brutal at all. He just asked her logical questions.
“I donât think he was brutal at all. He just asked her logical questions.”
That, in itself, was brutal. I thought about this for a while, and the reason that he didn’t rip her to shreds on television for all to see is basically the same reason that you don’t slap around a mentally defective child for wetting the bed. These people are intellectually and morally weak, and once you work your way past the few multi-syllabic words that they actually know (but can’t define!) parroted from their professors, they have nothing.
Cavuto's show is called Common Sense, This guest was the antithesis of that.
From what I’ve read, she is a representative of the group. Cavuto was a lot more patient with her than I could have been.I would have pulled a Trump on her and called her a stupid loser, no matter what a nice kid she seemed to be. Those people need to grow up.
