Keely Mullen, an organizer for the Million Student March movement, joined Fox Business Network anchor Neil Cavuto on the air Thursday to discuss the movementâs demands for free public college, student debt cancelation and a $15-an-hour minimum wage for student workers. In the awkward 9-minute interview, Cavuto repeatedly cited facts and figures that seemed to fluster the student.
When asked who would pick up the tab for the demands she listed, Mullen said, âThe 1 percent of people who are hoarding the wealth and causing a catastrophe students are facing.â
âIf the 1 percent just had their taxes raised a few years ago back to almost 40 percent then to pay for the healthcare law, they had them raised another few percentage points, then they had their deductions limited to raise another couple points â depending on the state or locality â theyâre pushing over about 50 percent in taxes,â Cavuto told Mullen. âHow much more do you think they should pay?â
Cavutoâs question, asked within the first two minutes of the interview, became the centerpiece of the entire discussion, as Mullen was unable to provide a clear answer.

Cavuto was great!
Well this is a free country. They have the right to be morons as long as we aren’t paying for them to attend college.
When you don’t allow dissenting opinions on campus you create student leaders who have never been challenged. This young woman got her lunch handed to her and part of the reason she was humiliated is a reflection of the poor the poor education she is getting.
Keily or Kelly...or whatever your name is: Go take a few economics classes and then form a more informed opinion. Just saying....
Imagine what she would sound like if she WASN’T college educated.
Nothing is really ever free. I keep hearing this phrase, and I keep wondering what reality these people are working from.
Someone with this mindset should not only not have her college paid for by someone else - she shouldn’t even be awarded a degree to begin with. Clueless. Given irrefutable facts, she responds with “I don’t believe that. That’s ludicrous.” Reality is an irrelevancy to liberals.
lol where’s Bill Clinton when we need him?
Universities need to be defunded if this is what they are producing - total cluelessness.
They need competition from vocational and trade schools as an alternative. “Higher Education” has become a cartel. That is one thing I really like about Rubio’s campaign platform I wish others would also talk about a lot more and adopt.
CAVUTO: "If you were to take the 1 percent and take all of their money â tax it 100 percent â do you know that couldnât keep Medicare, just Medicare, in this country going for three years? Did you know that?â
Keely Mullen: "Yeah, I donât believe that. Yeah, Iâm sorry, that just sounds completely ludicrous to me.â
If these idiots get hold of the reigns of power, their jack-booted thugs will bring about the copious blood of innocents flowing in the streets. The secret service or our military will no more put a stop them than they did Hillary during her 14-year rain (yeah, yeah) of terror and killing.
HF
No need to imagine, you heard it. She is indoctrinated, not educated.
Taxpaying working people should show up at their million student march and chant, “Where’s my free #$%&! Where’s my free #$#&!” Where’s my free #$^(!”
Their reply would make as much sense as the dingbat that they interviewed.
I’m surprised these students aren’t asking for the govt to simply print unlimited amounts of money and give it to them. That gets around all of that messy taxing the rich issue. LOL

That young girl was young dumb and full of.....it rhymes
I wasn’t that stupid but close
Oh I am all for student loans being forgiven. I just want a refund on the three that I paid off last year. Seems fair to me.
I got a free ride through college(thank GOD), even my books, meals, supplies, and fees were paid for by my scholarships. I was fortunate to receive several grants because of my grades. Of course I earned them by my hard work. There is a lot of stem money that is not being used because we don’t have students who meet the requirements for those scholarships.
I’ll bet she’s Philosophy major any bets?
Sorry to say but it sounds like the apple didn’t roll very far from the tree. Looks like the whole family are gov’t leeches.
She would be better off and have a better chance to think for herself instead of being programmed.
