That artillery must have been pretty close because you can hear an audible boom in the distance and jihad boy knows it’s incoming and starts to run.

That was the impression I got as well. Most guys’ voices become bloody high-pitched when suffering from extreme pain, so I would not be surprised if it was one of the jihadis keening in the background.

And yes, I know I should be ashamed... but I can’t help smiling at the thought.
